Zoho Corporation has announced it has surpassed one million paying customers globally, a milestone the company revealed as it celebrated its 30th anniversary.
The announcement, made from Adelaide, South Australia, also confirmed that Zoho Corporation – which encompasses Zoho, ManageEngine, Qntrl and TrainerCentral – now serves more than 150 million users across its product portfolio.
The company said it recorded 32 per cent year-on-year customer growth and 20 per cent revenue growth in 2025.
A different kind of tech company
Zoho has long positioned itself as an outlier in the enterprise software market. The company remains privately held, bootstrapped and has built its products entirely in-house – a rare combination among vendors of its scale.
Sridhar Vembu, Co-Founder and Chief Scientist at Zoho Corporation, said the company’s growth has been driven by a consistent focus on customer value rather than investor expectations.
“Being bootstrapped, private, and built entirely in-house makes Zoho an outlier among competitors,” Vembu said.
“But vendors don’t need our help, businesses do, which is why delivering customer value has, for 30 years, been Zoho Corporation’s North Star.”
Vembu said every product decision is filtered through a single question.
“Before any innovation, strategy, or guiding principle becomes a product, pivot, or policy, it must first affirm the question, ‘Will this help businesses?'” he said.
“We are incredibly grateful that companies around the world have responded so positively to our customer-first approach over the past three decades, and will continue to meet the evolving needs of businesses with powerful, scalable and affordable solutions.”
Long-term customers weigh in
Several of Zoho’s long-standing customers offered their perspectives on the company’s approach.
David Fauser, VP of Sales, Marketing and Strategy at CIMCO, said the vendor had earned its partnership credentials over eight years.
“‘Partnership’ is a word that gets frequently used in business, but it rarely matches its definition,” Fauser said. “With Zoho, I can say that they have always felt like a true partner. Rather than simply delivering software, Zoho engages with us in a collaborative way – helping us think through challenges, adapt to change and improve how we operate.”
Brandon Lennix, Director of Commercial Operations at GardaWorld Security Systems and Technology, said Zoho had adapted alongside his company’s changing requirements over a decade.
“As our business has evolved over the past 10 years through further acquisitions, organisational restructures and new operating models, Zoho has continued to scale with us rather than forcing us into rigid frameworks,” Lennix said.

“The broad range of apps available and the flexibility they offer have repeatedly helped us quickly pivot our business needs, make informed decisions and maintain momentum during times of significant challenge.”
Gerry Forde, IT Operations Manager at Lakeland Dairies, pointed to a 15-year relationship with ManageEngine as evidence of the company’s ability to grow alongside its customers.
“When we started our journey with ManageEngine 15 years ago, our operations were much smaller in scale. As our company expanded, so did ManageEngine,” Forde said. “We’ve grown with the product suites, and whatever goals or challenges we have, ManageEngine seems to always have the solution.”
Scaling with mid-market and enterprise users
Phil Edey, General Manager at Arctic Spas, a Canadian hot tub manufacturer with more than 200 dealers across North America and Europe, said Zoho had allowed his company to operate beyond its weight class.
“We’ve been with Zoho since 2014, and what keeps us here is the breadth of the platform,” Edey said. “We need our CRM, analytics and operations tools to work together seamlessly. Zoho gives us that integrated ecosystem without forcing us into enterprise-level pricing.”
“As our business has grown and our needs have become more sophisticated – from dealer management to API integrations and workflow automation – Zoho has scaled with us.”
Jason Yoffy, User Experience Manager at RJG, said the company’s continued investment in its platform was a key retention factor.
“While some companies would be content knowing that they already have our business, Zoho has always behaved like they’re working to keep it,” Yoffy said. “The reason we stay with Zoho is that Zoho keeps getting better. New apps continue to launch, existing tools become more powerful, and the user experience consistently evolves in ways that support our team.”
Rene Selemi, Vice President of Operations at IDT, said what began as a small deployment had expanded considerably.
“A project that started with just a few users has grown to over 1,000, largely because we have built a partnership with Zoho that addresses our demanding growth and business needs,” Selemi said.
Values-driven adoption
Jessica Miller, Chief People Officer at Island Psychiatry and Island Practice Management, said shared values played a role in the company’s decision to adopt Zoho.
“We were interested in Zoho due to the quality of the software, but began using it once we saw that it’s a company that shares our values – growing a business with purpose, not simply just to make money,” Miller said.
“We liked Zoho’s mission to create jobs, train internally and maintain a healthy work culture.”
Miller said Zoho had become central to operations over time.
“Over time, we’ve eliminated now-extraneous software systems, and Zoho has become our operational powerhouse,” she said. “The tech space is changing rapidly, but so far we’ve been impressed by how Zoho has balanced embracing AI and maintaining a human touch, something that is a priority of ours, as well.”
Roque Rodon, Director of Operations at Erase.com, described a similar trajectory, starting with a single application before expanding across the platform.
“Our decade-plus journey with Zoho began with just one application, Zoho CRM, and like many, Zoho has grown with us,” Rodon said. “Once we realised we could run our entire business on Zoho, we moved over to Zoho One. Over time, our entire business has improved, and it has everything to do with Zoho providing a suite of products at a reasonable price, with far better support than competitors.”
New customers across the globe
Zoho said recent customer additions span multiple regions. In the United States, Rapid Response Monitoring and Synergy Home Care have come on board. In India, the company has added Mercedes-Benz India, Force Motors, Joyalukkas and Union Bank of India.
In the UK and European Union, Flora Food Group, Handl Tyrol and Atout France have signed on, while Al-Ahli Saudi FC and Al Qadsiah FC are among new customers in the Middle East and Africa. In Latin America, Grupo Gonher has joined, along with Creditas and Editora Globo in Brazil.
