Zoho Corporation has opened a new office in Parramatta, Sydney, as it looks to support a growing customer base, expanding partner network and increased headcount across Australia and New Zealand.

The office, located in western Sydney’s Parramatta CBD, will house teams from both Zoho and ManageEngine, the company’s enterprise IT management division. Zoho has maintained a presence in Sydney since 2019, but described the new Parramatta location as purpose-built to accommodate the scale of its current operations in the region.

Growth across the board

The company reported year-over-year growth across several key metrics for the ANZ region during its FY2024/25 period. Customer numbers grew by 30 per cent, channel partners increased by 44 per cent and local headcount rose by 42 per cent. Revenue grew by 9 per cent.

Zoho also hired its first employees in New Zealand during the period and expanded its Adelaide office to support team growth.

ManageEngine, meanwhile, recorded 15 per cent year-over-year growth in the region, with its cloud business growing at 40 per cent year-over-year.

Rakesh Prabhakar, Head of Zoho ANZ, linked the growth to the company’s approach of offering a unified platform rather than a collection of point solutions.

“The momentum we have seen in ANZ over FY2024/25 reflects a deliberate effort to scale Zoho’s enterprise footprint in the region,” Prabhakar explained.

“At a time when organisations are rethinking their software stack amid the rapid rise of AI, Zoho stands out through the platform unification approach, its long-term product philosophy and ability to help businesses modernise without adding unnecessary complexity or cost.”

Prabhakar added that the investment in local presence positions Zoho to serve larger and more complex organisations across the region.

“Our growth across customers, partners and local teams shows that this approach is working. With deeper investments on the ground across the region, we are well positioned to support larger and more complex organisations as they look for a future-ready technology partner.”

ManageEngine expands Sydney footprint

ManageEngine’s decision to establish a Sydney presence through the new Parramatta office is driven by a need for closer proximity to its enterprise customers and partners.

The division works with a network of more than 100 channel partners across ANZ, including systems integrators and managed service providers. It is also engaging with Australian industry federations and government bodies as part of a broader push to grow its enterprise ecosystem in the region.

Vinayak Sreedhar, ManageEngine’s Australia and New Zealand Country Manager, pointed to Parramatta’s emergence as a commercial and technology hub as a factor in the location decision.

“Since first launching in the region, ManageEngine has steadily scaled its footprint and capabilities to support customers across Australia and New Zealand,” Sreedhar outlined.

“Parramatta is quickly becoming recognised as a fast-growing commercial and technology hub, and the decision to establish a new office in such a key location gives us the space and infrastructure to support our people, partners and customers as we continue to grow.”

AI driving IT management shift

Sreedhar also addressed the role of AI in reshaping enterprise IT management, noting that the technology is becoming embedded across infrastructure operations.

“With AI becoming embedded into the very fabric of enterprise infrastructure, IT management is undergoing another pivotal shift,” Sreedhar commented.

“Through its unified platform approach, ManageEngine has been able to deliver a comprehensive, secure and AI-driven ecosystem covering networks, servers, security, service desks, Active Directory, applications and endpoints.”
