Industry veteran to lead push into Ai-powered solutions

Wild Tech has appointed Dan Whittle as General Manager, Managed Services, as the company expands its technology solutions offering. The move reinforces its commitment to delivering managed services that prepare businesses for Ai-driven operations.

Whittle joins Wild Tech from Alceon-owned Cheap as Chips, where he led a shift from legacy systems to a technology-focused retail operation. His work included cloud ERP implementation, the launch of an online business, automated payroll, and real-time data infrastructure across 53 stores. His experience in deploying scalable, Ai-ready systems positions him to lead Wild Tech’s Managed Services Division.

Focus on business-ready Ai solutions

Grant Wild, CEO of Wild Tech, said Whittle’s leadership would strengthen the company’s ability to help businesses navigate evolving technology landscapes.

“With Dan’s leadership, we’re strengthening our focus on delivering solutions that empower businesses to navigate an increasingly complex technology landscape,” Wild said. “This division expansion reflects our vision to prepare organisations for the future of Ai, cloud, and advanced digital capabilities.”

Wild Tech’s expanded services include scalable infrastructure, advanced IT support, cyber risk management, and modern workplace solutions. These leverage Microsoft technologies such as Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Sentinel, and Microsoft 365 with Copilot to help businesses integrate Ai tools, streamline operations, and protect assets.

Preparing businesses for Ai integration

“Our solutions focus on mitigating risk, enhancing operational efficiency, and empowering teams with Ai-driven tools,” Whittle said. “From Ai-powered 24/7 service desks to scalable cloud platforms, we aim to deliver services that not only meet immediate business needs but also position clients for long-term success in a digital-first world.”

Wild Tech’s Managed Services Division offers packages covering cloud infrastructure management, device lifecycle services, and ITIL-based service desk operations. Businesses can also access support for critical transitions such as the Windows 10 end-of-life in October 2025, which requires upgrades to meet Windows 11 standards.
