Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
Consumer technology company, Ugreen, has unveiled its HomeAgent ecosystem, marking its entry into the AIoT space with a range of products that bring AI processing, storage and device control into the home while aiming to reduce reliance on cloud services.
The HomeAgent ecosystem is built around a local-first architecture, meaning core storage, security, file management and smart home functions can operate on the local network without requiring a persistent internet connection or cloud subscription.
A hub for local intelligence
At the centre of the ecosystem is the Ugreen HomeAgent HA100, a device that combines on-device AI processing with storage, security and device control in a single hub.
The HA100 is designed to make stored information more accessible, provide proactive support, preserve family moments captured on camera and give users control over where their data resides.
Users can interact with the system through Ugreen’s voice assistant, Uliya, to control supported devices, check live camera status or event history and create voice notifications triggered by specific events such as a package arriving or a baby crying.
Files, photos, surveillance footage and device activity can be stored locally on the HomeAgent with no monthly storage fee attached.
AI-driven highlights and home monitoring
The HomeAgent can capture moments from live camera footage, identify highlights in a user’s photo library, automatically generate highlight videos and display them on Ugreen Gallery LCD Smart Frames.
On the security front, the local AI can recognise people, vehicles, pets and packages, surface alerts for unusual activity, summarise events and enable keyword search across recorded footage.
The hub also supports Matter, the cross-platform smart home standard, allowing it to bring compatible devices together for unified local control. Users can create custom automation scenes and coordinate multiple devices across the home with a single voice request.
A higher-end variant, the HomeAgent HA100 Pro, supports faster network connectivity and more powerful AI performance for more demanding workloads, deeper semantic understanding, voice-based rule creation and context-aware device control.
MasterAgent pushes local processing further
Alongside the HA100 series, Ugreen has introduced the MasterAgent MA100, which it describes as the first agentic AI local hub powered by the Nvidia Jetson Thor T5000.
The MasterAgent delivers up to 2,070 FP4 TFLOPS of local computing power, designed to run larger models, understand richer context and intent and coordinate multiple devices and tasks from within the home.
Developers can extend the MasterAgent’s capabilities by creating packages or skills through the device’s developer platform.
Camera and accessory lineup
The HomeAgent ecosystem connects to a growing range of Ugreen AIoT products and compatible third-party devices. The initial lineup includes the Ugreen SynCare Indoor Cam ID500 Pro, the Ugreen SynCare PoE Cam OD600 Pro, the Ugreen SynCare Battery Cam OD800 Pro, the Ugreen Smart Speaker for Uliya and the Ugreen Gallery.
Vision for the smart home
Ugreen Sales Director for North America, Marshall Mao, outlined the company’s thinking behind the launch.

“The next chapter of the smart home is not simply about connecting more devices. It is about creating a system that can understand, assist and act while keeping users in control,” Mao explained. “Ugreen HomeAgent brings that intelligence into the home through a local-first architecture designed around privacy, responsiveness and a more unified experience.”
Pricing and availability
Pre-orders for the Ugreen HomeAgent HA100, HA100 Pro and Ugreen MasterAgent MA100 are available via the Ugreen AIoT Official Store ahead of an official Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign launching on October 27, 2026.
During the pre-order period, customers can place a deposit starting from $50 on the HomeAgent HA100, HA100 Pro or MasterAgent MA100 to secure early-bird pricing at 50 per cent off. Other announced AIoT accessories will be introduced as part of the Kickstarter campaign.
Ugreen noted that feature availability and rollout timing remain subject to the final feature list published on its official product pages. The company also clarified that while AI processing occurs locally, account registration, remote access, mobile notifications, software updates and optional cloud-enabled services may still require an internet connection.
