Two technology companies from Turkey’s Koc Group have signed separate partnership agreements in Saudi Arabia, aiming to expand the reach of Turkish-developed technology into the Gulf market.
KocSistem signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Saudi ICT and digital signage solutions provider, GAPP, to accelerate the rollout of its digital publishing platform, Pixage, in the country. Sister company, KocDigital, entered a strategic partnership with Mannai Information Technology Saudi Arabia to develop opportunities in AI, IoT, cloud and industry-specific digital transformation solutions.
Both agreements were signed at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, which drew more than 200,000 attendees along with global technology companies, investors and public sector representatives.
Digital signage platform targets Saudi institutions
The MoU between KocSistem and GAPP is intended to expand the range of applications for Pixage in Saudi Arabia and position the platform across a variety of digital communication projects.
Pixage is a cloud-based solution developed by KocSistem that allows digital screens in different locations to be managed from a single central platform. It supports the planning, distribution and simultaneous publishing of content across settings such as airports, hospitals, retail outlets and corporate campuses.
The platform can integrate with IoT systems, giving organisations a way to run large screen networks from one point and vary content by location, time and target audience.
The partnership forms part of KocSistem’s strategy to broaden its operations in the Gulf and increase the international use of technology it develops in Turkey.
AI and digital transformation focus for KocDigital
The strategic partnership between KocDigital and Mannai Information Technology Saudi Arabia brings together complementary capabilities from both companies. KocDigital contributes technology, solution architecture and industrial transformation experience, while Mannai provides local market knowledge, integration capability and managed services experience.
The two companies aim to develop client opportunities in AI, the internet of things, cloud technologies and industry-specific solutions, and to deliver scalable offerings for organisations in Saudi Arabia undergoing digital transformation.
Building a regional presence through local partners
The CEO of KocSistem and Vice Chairman of KocDigital, Mehmet Ali Akarca, outlined the thinking behind the Gulf strategy.
“Taking the technology we develop in Turkey and the experience we have accumulated into different markets around the world is an important part of our growth strategy,” Akarca explained. “Saudi Arabia holds a significant place in that strategy, with its strong economic transformation, its technology investments and its digitalisation vision.”
“The two partnerships we announced at LEAP 2026 are concrete steps toward our goal of establishing a long-term technology presence in the Gulf by combining our strengths with the local ecosystem,” he added.
Akarca emphasised that the approach goes beyond simple technology exports.
“Our aim here is not simply to export technology. It is to build a structure that understands the needs of the region, develops solutions together with local partners and creates long-term value.”
Part of a broader regional strategy
The two agreements extend a regional growth strategy that KocSistem has been pursuing through local partnerships and offices across the Middle East.

KocSistem and KocDigital are both part of Koc Group, Turkey’s largest industrial and services conglomerate. The companies are using regional partnerships as their primary model for entering Gulf markets rather than establishing standalone operations.
