Syspro Acquires RiteSoft To Boost Smart Manufacturing Capabilities

Enterprise resource planning vendor Syspro has acquired US-based RiteSoft, expanding its footprint in smart manufacturing with integrated warehouse and shopfloor automation capabilities.

The acquisition strengthens Syspro’s strategy to offer a streamlined, vertically integrated solution tailored to manufacturers and distributors.

RiteSoft is known for riteSCAN, a mobile warehouse management system that has been tightly integrated with Syspro’s Digital Manufacturing Suite through an existing partnership. With the acquisition finalised in June, Syspro is bringing the full RiteSoft team and its technology into the fold.

Embedded Automation, Global Reach

Syspro Chief Executive, Jaco Maritz, said the move consolidates the relationship and positions the company to support manufacturers looking for faster deployment, automation and operational simplification.

“This acquisition is about aligning our visions and delivering an enhanced, streamlined experience for our customers,” Maritz said.

“RiteSoft has been a trusted partner for many years, and bringing their team and technology fully into the Syspro family allows us to deliver a unified, end-to-end digital manufacturing suite that scales with our customers’ ambitions.”

The integration of RiteSoft’s tools means Syspro customers will now have access to built-in time tracking, scheduling and warehouse automation functions as part of the company’s broader ERP offering. These enhancements are expected to cut deployment times and increase efficiency across both the factory floor and warehouse environments.

Expansion Strategy Under Advent

The deal is part of a broader expansion strategy since private equity firm Advent acquired Syspro in 2021. It follows Syspro’s 2024 acquisition of NexSys and indicates a consistent focus on enhancing the vendor’s capabilities in vertical markets through targeted buyouts.

“Joining Syspro is a natural next step for RiteSoft,” said Bruce Hagberg, Founder and Chief Executive of RiteSoft. “We share a commitment to helping manufacturers operate more efficiently and competitively. As part of Syspro, we can expand our reach, accelerate innovation and better support our customers around the world.”

Focus On SMEs

Both companies have traditionally served small and mid-sized manufacturers and distributors. By embedding RiteSoft’s functionality directly into the Syspro ecosystem, the merged entity aims to deliver more value with less operational complexity.

Syspro also sees new opportunity for partners to offer value-added services off the back of the expanded stack, particularly in logistics-heavy and time-sensitive manufacturing environments.

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
