Major Vehicle Reveals And Announcements
Tesla will unveil its new Model Y and give attendees a first look at the Cybertruck. Visitors will be able to explore Tesla’s full ecosystem, including its energy storage solutions. It will be interesting to see how well Tesla will be received owing to the collapse in sales around the world caused by Elon Musk’s recent behaviour.
Other vehicles making their Australian debut include Audi’s S6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron, Deepal’s S05 and E07, Farizon’s SV, Skoda’s Elroq, Skywell’s EVA5, Volkswagen’s ID.4 and ID.5, XPeng’s Mona M03, and Zeekr’s Mix and 7X.
Ford will announce pricing for its PHEV Ranger, the plug-in hybrid version of Australia’s best-selling vehicle. FTN Motion will introduce the Streetdog 80 electric motorbike, while Segway will unveil four new electric scooters.
Dan Caesar, Global CEO of Everything Electric, said the scale of this year’s event reflects Australia’s accelerating transition to electric transport.
“Australia has become a key market for EV manufacturers, and Everything Electric Sydney is now a major platform for launches,” Caesar said. “The number of first-time reveals shows manufacturers’ confidence in the Australian market and in this event as a showcase for innovation.”
Record-Breaking Test Drive Opportunities
Attendees will have access to 7,500 EV test drives across 41 models, making this the largest EV test drive event in the Southern Hemisphere. More than 120 vehicles will be available from brands including Audi, BMW, BYD, Cadillac, Cupra, Deepal, GWM, Jeep, Kia, Leapmotor, Mini, MG, Peugeot, Polestar, Renault, Skoda, Tesla, Volkswagen, XPeng, and Zeekr.
The event will also include test rides for electric motorbikes, e-bikes, e-skateboards, and scooters.
Expanding The Electric Ecosystem
With energy prices rising, Everything Electric Sydney will showcase solutions for home energy efficiency. Visitors can consult with experts on solar panels, insulation, smart meters, and battery storage to explore ways to lower household energy costs.
A dedicated Marine Zone will feature companies such as Candela, while the Start-Up Pavilion will highlight emerging technology. More than 40 panel discussions will take place across two theatres, covering topics from EV adoption to sustainable energy.
