Sennheiser Launches DeviceHub For Centralised Cloud-Based AV Management

Sennheiser has launched DeviceHub, a cloud-based platform designed to give organisations centralised control of their Sennheiser audio-visual infrastructure from anywhere in the world.

The platform, which enters public beta with support for TeamConnect Bar Solutions, was previewed at InfoComm US in mid-2025. It is built to simplify management at scale and is expected to extend compatibility to additional Sennheiser hardware over the coming year.

Centralised Oversight And Role-Based Control

DeviceHub provides IT and AV teams with a unified browser-based environment for real-time monitoring, diagnostics and control. The system structures devices by room, building or region, creating a layout that mirrors an organisation’s real-world environments.

“DeviceHub represents a major step forward in how customers manage their Sennheiser devices,” said Iain Horrocks, Product Marketing Manager for Software and Security at Sennheiser.

“By bringing secure, cloud-based control to the entire ecosystem, we’re giving IT and AV teams the tools they need to work more efficiently, collaborate more effectively and support better learning and meeting experiences… and this is just the beginning.”

Built on Microsoft Azure, DeviceHub incorporates role-based access controls and modern authentication protocols to ensure that administrators, technicians and integrators only see and manage the devices relevant to their responsibilities. Security measures span authorisation, encryption and data-handling, with ongoing compliance oversight to support enterprise and education settings.

Designed To Scale

At launch, DeviceHub supports TeamConnect Bar Solutions. More devices will be added throughout 2026, including those previously managed through Cockpit, Sennheiser’s local management utility.

The system supports real-time alerts and visibility into system health, aimed at helping support teams act before issues disrupt classes, meetings or presentations. A Local Web UI feature supports quick single-device setup in browser, reducing dependencies on external software tools.

The platform also enables remote configuration and status checks without needing on-site access, something Sennheiser said will be especially valuable in distributed environments such as universities or multinational businesses.

Early User Feedback

Guillaume Amaurin, AV Specialist at Sainte-Justine Hospital in Quebec, said DeviceHub had already streamlined their workflows.

“A single configuration is enough to onboard a new device, making the onboarding process fast and frictionless,” Amaurin said. “The portal is easy to access and is used daily by the entire team to configure the bars and monitor their usage, wherever we are.”

Alain Lamontagne, an IT Specialist at the same hospital, said the move away from Cockpit brought noticeable benefits.

“Compared to the previous method based on Cockpit, which was limited to a single computer and required the bars to be re-added whenever the machine changed, DeviceHub represents a major gain in both time and flexibility. We are looking forward to being able to add more devices synchronised with the portal.”

Future Expansion

Sennheiser said the DeviceHub roadmap will continue to evolve through 2026 with features aimed at strengthening collaboration, improving remote troubleshooting and enhancing configuration capabilities.
