Qsic, a provider of Ai-powered in-store audio retail media platforms, has appointed Brad Montgomery as its new APAC sales lead. Montgomery, an industry professional with over 15 years in audio and out-of-home advertising, joins Qsic during a period of significant growth. The company, which enables retailers and brands to establish in-store audio networks globally, recently reported 220 per cent year-over-year growth and is on track for its strongest year-to-date.

Strengthening Leadership in APAC

Montgomery’s appointment marks a strategic move by Qsic to expand its influence in the Asia-Pacific region. In his new role, Montgomery will collaborate closely with Ben Dixon, Head of Retail Media and Partnerships, and Ben McMillan, Retail Media Strategist, to target key APAC markets. His primary focus will be on accelerating Qsic’s operations and growth in the region.

“I am thrilled to join the Qsic team at such an exciting time of growth,” said Montgomery. “Being part of a company leading innovation in the retail media space is truly motivating. The Asia Pacific retail media landscape presents incredible opportunities, and I look forward to leveraging my experience to help brands forge stronger connections with customers, drive sales, and create new revenue streams.”

Before joining Qsic, Montgomery held senior sales roles at JCDecaux, NOVA Entertainment, and Scentre Group, the company behind Westfield shopping centres in Australia and New Zealand. His experience in managing business growth and building industry partnerships is expected to play a vital role as Qsic continues its expansion efforts in the region.

Qsic’s Role in a Growing Retail Media Market

Retail media is gaining traction as a high-growth advertising channel, and Qsic is positioned to capitalise on this trend by bringing advanced in-store audio solutions to retailers. Dixon expressed enthusiasm for Montgomery’s appointment, stating, “Retail media is one of the fastest-growing advertising channels worldwide, and Qsic is uniquely positioned to help retailers seize this opportunity. Brad brings the experience and relationships needed to expand into new markets and significantly increase our reach in APAC.”

Founded in 2012, Qsic collaborates with thousands of retailers worldwide, curating in-store experiences that integrate brand messaging with customer engagement strategies. Its technology provides smart audio infrastructure, reporting, and autonomous control, allowing retailers to enhance the shopping experience and create additional revenue from in-store audio assets. By commercialising these audio channels, Qsic enables brands to engage consumers at critical moments in the shopping journey, increasing sales and reinforcing brand connections.

Driving Revenue Through Retail Media

The company’s platform allows retailers to transform in-store audio into a revenue-generating asset by tailoring music and advertisements to optimise customer engagement. Qsic’s closed-loop reporting offers insights into how audio content influences customer behaviour, helping retailers and brands make data-driven decisions.
