PPDS has promoted Jonas Fjeld to the newly created position of Business Manager Nordics, expanding his responsibilities across multiple countries as the company reshapes its regional leadership structure.

Fjeld, who joined PPDS in August 2025 as Country Sales Manager for Philips Professional Displays in Norway, will now oversee sales across Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Estonia and the Baltics.

The appointment is part of a broader organisational realignment at PPDS – the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays – aimed at supporting growth and delivering more localised service and support to partners and customers in the region.

A Career Built On AV/IT Sales Experience

Fjeld brings more than 15 years of AV/IT sales and management experience to the expanded role, including a decade working at two major manufacturers and distributors in the sector.

Before joining PPDS, he held the position of Account Manager at Samsung. Since arriving at PPDS, he has focused on building momentum in the Norwegian market and has demonstrated the leadership and expertise the company was looking for in its Nordic operations.

Broader Regional Responsibilities

In his new role, Fjeld reports to Jae O Choi Park, EMEA Commercial Head at PPDS. He will be responsible for leading sales and commercial strategy across all products and solutions, including Philips LED and Videowalls, Signage, ePaper and interactive displays, professional and hotel TVs.

A key part of the role involves driving growth and strengthening brand presence across each of the Nordic and Baltic countries under his remit.

Fjeld will work closely with a team that includes Lilly Janson, Sales Manager Finland and Baltics; Peter Bystrom, Sales Manager Sweden; and Peter Thurner, Sales Manager Sweden.

Strengthening Channel Relationships

Beyond direct sales targets, Fjeld will also focus on expanding and deepening channel relationships with distributors, system integrators, AV/IT partners, designers and architects across the region.

The goal is to ensure PPDS remains well positioned for future project tenders as demand for professional display technology continues to grow across Nordic markets.

‘Significant Opportunities Ahead’

Commenting on his appointment, Fjeld remarked: “Since joining PPDS, I have believed strongly in what we can achieve with our portfolio and talented team. We have built strong momentum in Norway, and I am proud to now take on this expanded role.”

“There are significant opportunities ahead across the Nordics, and together we will continue to strengthen PPDS’ position in the market,” he added.

Jae O Choi Park expressed confidence in the appointment: “Jonas has demonstrated strong leadership and a clear ability to develop and execute strategies that deliver results. His deep understanding of the Nordic region made him the natural choice for this role. On behalf of PPDS, I wish him every success.”
