Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
Palo Alto Networks has expanded its Prisma Airs platform with new integrations designed to secure a growing wave of enterprise Ai agents, linking the service directly into tools from Factory, Glean, IBM and ServiceNow.
The company framed the move as a response to rising adoption of autonomous agents across organisations. Production numbers are forecast to climb to 1.3 billion by 2028, a shift that is bringing new but often hidden security risks into everyday workflows.
The updates embed Prisma Airs protections inside the environments where teams already build, test and operate their agents. Enterprises will be able to detect prompt injections, misuse of tools and unwanted agent behaviour in real time, without adding extra steps to their processes.
Securing Momentum Behind Ai Agents
Palo Alto Networks described the extensions as a way for organisations to move faster with Ai without raising their exposure.
Executive Vice President Of Network & Ai Security, Anand Oswal, said Prisma Airs is intended to remove friction that usually holds back deployments.
“The enterprise race to deploy Ai agents demands a platform that turns security from a roadblock into an accelerator for innovation. Prisma AirS is that platform, offering frictionless, end-to-end protection that helps customers scale security across multiple Ai agent platforms. Through our deep, native integrations with Factory, Glean, IBM and ServiceNow, we are providing the trusted security foundation required for rapid deployment that directly boosts customer productivity.”
Senior Director, Ecosystems ANZ, Bryan Stibbard, said teams across Australia and New Zealand are seeking ways to handle the rising workload created by Ai adoption.
“Prisma Airs 2.0 gives our partners and customers across Australia and New Zealand the ability to move fast with Ai agents while maintaining uncompromised security. By delivering real-time, embedded protections integrated across existing workflows, we’re helping organisations turn Ai from an experimental add-on into a secure, scalable driver of productivity. In a region where skills are tight and expectations are high, this level of built-in security empowers teams to adopt Ai with confidence and drive meaningful outcomes from day one.”
Factory Integration
Prisma Airs is being embedded inside Factory’s agent-native development environment. The integration inspects prompts, responses and tool calls as developers work.
Co-founder & CEO, Matan Grinberg, said the move links autonomous software development with automated security controls.
“This partnership brings two categories together – agentic development and autonomous security. By integrating Factory’s agent-native development platform with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Airs, we will give organisations the power to build with Ai while staying fully protected in real time.”
Glean Integration
The connection with Glean is now generally available. It adds an inspection layer for user prompts and LLM responses, extending existing governance controls.
CISO, Sunil Agrawal, said enterprises are scaling their use of agents faster than expected.
“Enterprises are deploying Ai agents faster than ever, and security has to evolve just as quickly. Glean’s platform already enforces rigorous data governance and real-time protection for every agent action. Our integration with Prisma Airs builds on that foundation – adding intelligent runtime defence against prompt injection, data leakage and other emerging threats. It’s how we help customers scale Ai responsibly, with security embedded at every layer.”
IBM Integrations
Prisma Airs is being added to IBM’s automation and Ai stack. The platform now protects workflows built in watsonx Orchestrate and is discoverable through IBM Agent Connect.

IBM Project Bob, positioned as an Ai-enabled software development partner, will use Prisma Airs to check prompts and identify security issues in generated code.
General Manager, Automation and Ai, Neel Sundaresan, said organisations are relying more heavily on agent-driven operations.
“As Ai and intelligent agents become core to how enterprises build applications and run their businesses, our customers depend on platforms like watsonx Orchestrate to design, manage and scale agent-driven automation and Ai augmentation. With Project Bob, we are infusing Ai throughout the software development lifecycle – from automating routine work to accelerating complex problem-solving. As prompts, code, build systems and agentic workflows become mission-critical, Prisma Airs plays a vital role in safeguarding them at every stage, ensuring the governance and trust enterprises demand for Ai at scale.”
ServiceNow Integration
ServiceNow’s Ai Agent Studio lets teams build and run agents across large enterprise processes. Prisma Airs will screen agent actions before they execute, reducing the risk of flawed or unsafe behaviour within the platform.
Vice President, Ai Platform, Ravi Krishnamurthy, said secure Ai is already shaping enterprise strategy.
“At ServiceNow, we recognise the transformative power of trusted Ai in shaping the future of enterprise operations. By providing customers the ability to integrate with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Airs, we are extending our foundation of security and governance that enables organisations to leverage Ai agents effectively. This collaboration empowers businesses to unlock new efficiencies and drive innovation, allowing them to harness Ai’s full potential while ensuring their operations remain resilient and secure.”
The integrations mark a continuation of efforts to embed Ai security directly inside enterprise tools, rather than relying on layered controls outside the workflow.
