OKX Australia Launches Pay Wallet With Up To 10 Per Cent Rewards On USDG

OKX Australia has launched OKX Pay, a payments wallet built into the existing OKX app that allows peer-to-peer transfers and offers rewards on USDG stablecoin holdings.

The wallet supports instant peer-to-peer money transfers without requiring bank account numbers or BSB codes. It also supports transactions across USDG, USDT, USDC and Australian dollar stablecoins AUDM and AUDF.

Rewards on USDG start at 4 per cent for regular customers, with balances capped at $10,000, and scale to 10 per cent for VIP 3+ members. OKX noted that customers already holding digital assets on the platform may find their existing positions qualify for VIP status, along with its associated reward and cashback structures.

How OKX Pay works

OKX Pay is embedded inside the existing OKX app rather than being offered as a separate download or platform. From activation, customers can send and receive money, earn rewards on eligible USDG balances and move between trading and payments without switching apps.

OKX Australia CEO, Kate Cooper, described the product as an attempt to make stablecoins more practical for Australian consumers.

“Money should move as quickly as the internet. Stablecoins have the potential to modernise how Australians spend and transfer value, but until now the experience has been fragmented,” Cooper explained.

“With OKX Pay, customers can hold Australian dollar and US dollar stablecoins, earn rewards on eligible balances and send money instantly, all from a single app. We’re making the benefits of stablecoins practical, accessible and rewarding for everyday Australians.”

OKX Card on the way

OKX has also opened a waitlist for the OKX Card, a virtual Mastercard that will be available through Apple Pay and Google Pay when it launches in Australia in the coming weeks.

The card is designed to extend OKX Pay to everyday spending, offering cashback starting at 2 per cent for regular customers and up to 5 per cent for VIP 3+ members on eligible purchases. Monthly cashback caps scale by VIP level.

OKX is positioning the card as a way for customers who already hold digital assets on the platform to use their existing wallet for day-to-day purchases without moving to a separate platform or forfeiting rewards.

DECA 2026

OKX Australia is Primary Partner for DECA 2026, a conference running at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park. Conference delegates can activate OKX Pay and join the card waitlist at the OKX Activation Zone in the conference foyer.

Cooper is delivering the Day 2 opening plenary keynote, followed by a fireside chat with Jamie Coutts, Chief Crypto Analyst at Real Vision and Founder of Helios Analytics.

Regulatory structure

The OKX Pay Wallet is issued by Bano Pty Ltd (AFSL 536984) and distributed by OKX Australia Pty Ltd as a corporate authorised representative of Bano. Digital currency exchange services are provided by OKX Australia Pty Ltd, which is registered with AUSTRAC as a Digital Currency Exchange.

AUDM is issued by Catena Digital Pty Ltd (AFSL 566313) and AUDF is issued by Forte Securities Australia Pty Ltd (AFSL 492490). Product disclosure statements for both stablecoins are available from their respective issuers.

OKX Australia Pty Ltd is headquartered in Sydney and is part of the broader OKX group, which the company says serves more than 120 million people globally.
