Netskope has announced an extended partnership with Microsoft, bringing advanced Security Service Edge (SSE) capabilities to enterprise customers. This collaboration integrates Netskope’s SSE platform, Netskope One SSE, with Microsoft Entra Suite, enhancing security for web, SaaS, and private applications.

The partnership enables enterprises to consolidate their security measures into a single, streamlined platform, simplifying administration while ensuring robust protection. Microsoft has chosen Netskope as its lead partner for this integration, aimed at addressing the growing need for flexible and comprehensive security solutions.

Simplifying Security Through Integration

By combining Netskope’s SSE expertise with Microsoft’s infrastructure, organisations gain a more cohesive approach to safeguarding their data. The integrated solution is designed to optimise operations, maintain a consistent user experience, and simplify processes for security teams.

“This partnership brings together two strong platforms to offer seamless security capabilities for enterprises,” said John Martin, Chief Product Officer at Netskope. “Microsoft’s trust in Netskope reflects our shared commitment to delivering tailored solutions that address evolving security needs.”

For Microsoft customers, the collaboration delivers an embedded SSE experience within Entra Suite. This includes advanced threat protection and data security not only for Microsoft applications but also for third-party tools, creating a unified security framework.

Meeting Evolving Security Demands

The integrated solution was unveiled during Microsoft Ignite, reflecting both companies’ focus on addressing enterprise security challenges. Netskope has consistently been recognised as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for SSE for three consecutive years, as well as in the inaugural Forrester Wave for SSE.

Joy Chik, President of Identity and Network Access at Microsoft, emphasised the value of the collaboration. “We chose Netskope as our first partner to build an open SSE ecosystem. This ensures our customers benefit from a combination of security, performance, and user experience, protecting their data against cyber threats.”

Availability Through Azure Marketplace

Netskope’s Advanced SSE for Microsoft will be accessible through the Microsoft Azure Marketplace and Microsoft partners, providing an easy pathway for enterprises to adopt the integrated solution. This availability reflects the companies’ commitment to ensuring enterprise customers have options that fit their specific security requirements.
