Mova has launched its V70 Ultra Complete robot vacuum in Australia, a flagship model built around what the company describes as an industry-first mop and brush extension system designed to clean corners, edges and recessed spaces that conventional robot vacuums tend to miss.
The V70 Ultra Complete is centred on Mova’s MaxiReachX technology, which pairs a 17cm mop extension with a 12cm side-brush extension. The company claims the dual-arm system delivers up to three times the edge and corner coverage compared to standard robotic vacuum designs, allowing the robot to reach deeper into tight areas such as furniture gaps, low-clearance zones and wall edges.
The model has been recognised with a 2026 Red Dot Award for Product Design.
Tackling household cleaning gaps
Nancy Zhang, Country Manager at Mova ANZ, framed the launch as a response to persistent pain points in robotic cleaning.
“Robot vacuums have become much more capable, but many households still experience the same real-world frustrations: missed corners, furniture gaps, thresholds and ongoing maintenance. With every Mova robot vacuum, our goal is to provide purpose-driven solutions for better living,” Zhang explained.
“The V70 Ultra Complete brings that focus to life through flagship intelligence, powerful performance and practical design advancements that address real household blind spots, from recessed furniture and narrow gaps to low-clearance areas.”
Zhang pointed to early traction in overseas markets as a sign of demand for the product category.
“Its strong reception in Europe and other global markets reflects growing demand for deeper, smarter and more adaptive cleaning solutions, and we’re excited to bring that experience to Australian homes.”
How the extension system works
The MaxiReachX mop extension is designed to reach into low-clearance and recessed zones, with a slim 3.8cm module that can access spaces as low as 5.9cm. The mop operates with an adaptive 134-degree wide-arc mopping motion.
Working in tandem, the 12cm side-brush extension arm coordinates with the mop extension to clean edges, corners and around furniture legs simultaneously.
The system is intended to shift robotic cleaning from a passive pass-over approach to one that actively reaches further into areas that are typically left untouched.
Obstacle crossing and navigation
The V70 Ultra Complete features the StepMaster 2.0 system, which uses robotic legs to physically lift the robot’s chassis over obstacles up to 9cm high. This includes door tracks, thresholds, U-shaped furniture legs and other common household barriers. Mova claims the system climbs up and down without misreading steps as cliffs or reversing unnecessarily.
Navigation is handled by a FlexScope system with a retractable DToF sensor. The sensor lowers when the robot passes under low furniture, reducing its profile to access tighter spaces without compromising positioning accuracy.
AI-powered obstacle recognition identifies more than 300 household objects. Users can also define custom objects through the companion app, set safe distances and enable targeted cleaning in specific areas.
Suction and mopping performance
The robot generates up to 42,000Pa of suction, powered by a motor that spins at up to 150,000RPM. Mova positions this as capable of lifting large debris and hair from both hard floors and carpets.

A TroboWave DuoBrush system is designed to remove 99.9 per cent of tangled hair from the main brush during operation, while an anti-tangle side brush and anti-wrap omni-wheel aim to reduce manual maintenance.
On the mopping side, a redesigned mop motor reaches speeds of up to 300RPM for stronger stain removal. The FlexiPress Mop Pad system uses adaptive pressure, allowing the floating mop plate to adjust up to 2mm upward and 1mm downward with a five-degree tilt to maintain contact on uneven surfaces. Combined with 15N of downward pressure, the mop is designed to remove dried residue in a single cleaning pass.
An ultrasonic sensor detects carpets of varying pile heights, and the robot can be configured via the app to lift or remove mops, avoid rugs or boost suction automatically when carpet is detected.
Self-cleaning base station
The V70 Ultra Complete ships with an EcoCyclone Bagless Dust Station, which replaces disposable dust bags with a washable dust tank. Mova claims the station supports up to 100 days of hands-free operation.
The base station handles multiple functions automatically: refilling mopping solution, emptying dust, washing the mops and charging the robot. A JetSpray Dryboard 2.0 washboard with a 40-degree bevelled surface and targeted spray nozzles guides debris away from edges during mop cleaning.
An auto-drying function dries the mops in approximately one hour, and the self-cleaning process removes up to 99.99 per cent of dirt, according to the company. The auto-drying dust tank is also designed to reduce the potential for mould or odours.
Battery and additional features
A 6,400mAh battery supports extended cleaning sessions, with Mova claiming up to 30 per cent faster charging compared to its previous fast-charge technology. A smart resume function allows the robot to continue from its last mapped position after recharging.
The robot also includes a pet care mode that detects pets and pet waste with up to 99.9 per cent accuracy, adjusting its cleaning path accordingly. A smart status light provides real-time visual updates on the robot’s operating state and alerts without requiring users to open the app.
Pricing and availability
The Mova V70 Ultra Complete is available now for $3,299 at Harvey Norman and Amazon.
The launch follows other recent Mova product introductions in the Australian market, including the Z70 Ultra Roller, the Diver A10 robotic pool cleaner and the N1 robotic window cleaner.
