Atlassian Becomes Official Title And Technology Partner Of Williams Racing

Atlassian has entered a long-term partnership with Williams Racing, taking on the role of Official Title Partner and Official Technology Partner. The team will now be known as Atlassian Williams Racing.

Formula 1 is built on high-stakes teamwork and continuous innovation. Both Atlassian and Williams have long focused on collaboration. Williams has secured 114 wins and 16 Championships, while Atlassian supports more than 300,000 organisations with its Ai-powered collaboration software.

Williams Racing Targets A New Era

Williams has a long history in Formula 1, known for precision, organisation, and teamwork. The team is now working towards a return to the front of the grid, seeing innovation in work methods as a key part of its strategy. Winning in Formula 1 requires coordination across multiple teams, from pit crews to corporate and technology teams. The ability to align on goals and collaborate seamlessly is critical, with success measured in milliseconds.

Atlassian Chief Marketing Officer Zeynep Inanoglu Ozdemir said the partnership represents a step forward for both organisations.

“Atlassian and Williams share a commitment to teamwork and innovation,” she said. “This partnership will support Williams as they continue their transformation, helping them optimise collaboration and drive success on and off the track.”

Atlassian’s System Of Work To Support Williams

Atlassian has worked with technology-driven teams for more than 20 years, developing what it calls a System of Work. This approach connects teams across an organisation, using Ai to enhance collaboration and drive innovation.

As Williams’ Official Technology Partner, Atlassian will introduce this system through its software and cloud platform. The goal is to help the team streamline operations and find new ways to improve performance.

Atlassian branding will also be visible at races, with the company’s logo featured trackside and on the 2025 Formula 1 car. The vehicle, set to be unveiled at the F1 75 event next week, will be driven by Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz throughout the 2025 season.

“We’re proud of the work we’ve done helping teams around the world,” Ozdemir said. “Now, in partnership with Williams and alongside the global F1 community, we’re excited to support teamwork at the highest level of motorsport.”
