Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
ManageEngine has expanded its CloudSpend platform with a new multi-portal architecture aimed at managed service providers, cloud partners and multi-tenant enterprises facing rising complexity in cloud cost management.
The vendor framed the update as a response to the growing financial and operational pressures created by multi-cloud adoption. Gartner projected global public cloud spending to reach $723.4 billion in 2025, underscoring the need for stronger financial oversight and scalable governance.
Balancing Visibility And Segmentation
Srinivasa Raghavan, Director of Product Management at ManageEngine, said service providers often struggle to give customers the transparency they expect while maintaining strict separation between environments.
“Service providers have long struggled to strike the right balance between visibility and isolation,” Raghavan said. “Each client needs full transparency into their cloud spending, while MSPs and CSPs must uphold strict separation, governance, and compliance. Similarly, large multi-tenant enterprises face the same challenge of managing multiple business units or projects securely under one environment.”
He said the new architecture closes this gap.
“CloudSpend’s new multi-portal architecture bridges this gap by unifying visibility across tenants while enforcing data isolation and automated cost policies,” he said. “It enables service providers and enterprises alike to manage cloud costs securely and efficiently at scale, helping them maximise profitability, ensure compliance, and deliver the transparency every stakeholder expects.”
Addressing Multi-Tenant Complexity
Large organisations often face fractured reporting, labour-intensive billing and increased compliance risks when managing cloud spending across hundreds of clients or business units. ManageEngine positioned CloudSpend’s latest update as a way to simplify these workflows through centralisation and secure segmentation.
Key capabilities include:
• Dedicated portals with unified governance: Each portal operates as an independent environment with its own budgets, alerts, thresholds and workflows. Administrators retain full oversight through granular controls designed to preserve data boundaries.
• Intelligent cost saving recommendations: CloudSpend highlights underused resources, flags rightsizing opportunities and identifies potential savings without manual audits.
• Simplified management and white labelling: All portals can be controlled from a single console, with automated billing, chargeback and branded reporting.
• Ai-driven anomaly detection and forecasting: Users can draw on historical data to forecast spending, detect anomalies and generate insights aimed at improving budgeting accuracy and overall cost control.
ManageEngine said the update marks a step forward in the platform’s FinOps maturity, particularly as cloud environments grow more distributed and financially complex.
Availability And Pricing
CloudSpend supports MSPs, CSPs and enterprises of varying scale. The platform offers free cost tracking up to USD $3000 per month across GCP, AWS and Azure. Paid plans begin at 1 per cent of monthly spending above $3000, with custom pricing available for organisations exceeding $100,000. A 30-day trial is available at www.mnge.it/CloudSpend.
