Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
Local technology integrator xAmplify has secured a minority equity investment from Macquarie Capital Principal Finance, aiming to expand its Ai-driven and automation-based services to more government and enterprise clients across Australia.
The Canberra-headquartered company said the funding would accelerate its national growth and allow it to pursue acquisitions, build out its AgileOps platform, and deepen its engagement with agencies and businesses seeking scalable and secure digital transformation solutions.
xAmplify Chief Executive and Co-founder, Wayne Gowland, said the investment marked a significant milestone for the company and reflected broader priorities around local capability and digital sovereignty.
“We’re proud to be an Australian business building solutions for Australia’s future,” said Gowland.
“For us, it’s not just about the technology, it’s about the people delivering it, and the national outcomes we create together. We believe this partnership with Macquarie Capital will help us do exactly that.”
Investment Aims To Scale Delivery Across Key Sectors
The investment is expected to enhance xAmplify’s delivery capacity for clients including the Department of Health and Aged Care and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water.
Gowland said the local technology landscape is shifting rapidly, particularly in areas such as sovereign data management and Ai adoption.
“Australia’s digital priorities are shifting fast. From sovereign data management to Ai adoption, we need scalable, smart infrastructure and solutions that are built and delivered by people who understand the local context,” he said.
“Partnerships like this give us the momentum and capital to expand our national footprint, pursue targeted acquisitions, and extend the reach of our AgileOps platform to organisations prioritising automation, security, and agility.”
Macquarie Capital Targets Local Innovation
Macquarie Capital’s Head of Principal Finance APAC, Newton Gillies, said the deal reflects the bank’s approach to investing in high-growth businesses that support the digital priorities of both government and industry.
“xAmplify’s leadership team, expertise, and forward-looking platform align with Macquarie Capital’s view of the capabilities needed to drive continued digitisation for Australian businesses and government entities,” said Gillies.
“We are excited to be partnering with the xAmplify team on the next phase of their growth.”
