Logitech G has been named the Official PC Peripheral Partner for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, covering mice, keyboards, headsets and other gear aimed at players across casual and competitive levels.
The deal also sees the Logitech G ASTRO Series appointed as the game’s Official Headset Partner, extending a relationship between the peripheral maker and the Call of Duty franchise that has run for more than a decade.
Play For Prestige
The partnership centres on a campaign called Play for Prestige, which brings together in-game content, community events, creator activations and hardware integrations tied to the upcoming title.
Players will gain access to a Logitech G-themed weapon blueprint, charm and calling card within Modern Warfare 4. The campaign also includes in-game challenges, streamer events and gear giveaways.
Andrew Tagher, Head of Partnerships at Logitech G, described the collaboration as an effort to reach Call of Duty players at every level.
“This partnership between Logitech G and Activision is about elevating and celebrating every player in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4,” he explained. “Together, we’re making every session into a chance to Play for Prestige.”
Tagher added that Logitech G’s proprietary technologies and full product range are designed to support the Call of Duty gameplay experience across casual sessions and competitive play.
Creator And Hardware Integrations
On the creator side, the partnership leverages Streamlabs to deliver AI-powered overlays, automatic highlight capture, custom stream automations and interactive streaming companions themed around the Modern Warfare 4 universe.
Logitech G’s GHUB software will offer custom-tuned audio EQ settings for the game, along with a direct LIGHTSYNC RGB integration that syncs peripheral lighting with in-game events.
Cody Neal, Head of Partnerships at Activision, pointed to the immersion that hardware integration can bring to the gameplay experience.
“Partnering with Logitech G lets us push the boundaries of what Modern Warfare 4 feels like, from the first drop into combat to the final moments of a hard-fought win,” he remarked. “By combining our game’s intensity with Logitech G’s innovation, engineering and performance expertise, we’re giving players new ways to experience Call of Duty with greater immersion.”
Neal added that the partnership is designed to “bring players closer to the action of Modern Warfare.”
A Long-Running Relationship
The partnership builds on a relationship between Logitech G and Call of Duty that stretches back more than ten years. The company’s ASTRO console headsets have been a consistent presence in the competitive Call of Duty scene, and the Modern Warfare 4 deal extends that involvement to a new generation of players.
As part of the arrangement, Logitech G will continue to supply peripherals across both PC and console, with gear positioned for use from everyday gaming sessions through to competitive play.
