Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
Lenovo has teamed with Nvidia on a quick-start program that promises order-to-ship times of as little as 15 business days for pre-validated AI infrastructure. The company wants to cut the lead times and integration hurdles that slow enterprise AI rollouts.
Dubbed Lenovo AI Express, the program packages three right-sized configurations built on Lenovo ThinkSystem servers and Nvidia GPUs. Customers can add enterprise AI software and a set of deployment and support services.
According to Lenovo, customers can start with a configuration sized for their current workloads and budgets. They can then scale up as agents, models, users, data and inference demands grow.
The vendor is positioning AI Express as an on-ramp to the Lenovo Hybrid AI Factory with Nvidia. It is leaning on its supply chain to offer more predictable deployment timelines and access to production capacity.
Chasing The AI Payoff
Lenovo’s 2026 CIO Playbook found that organisations moving from AI experimentation to scaled execution expect an average return of almost $3 for every $1 invested.
Some 93 per cent of enterprise respondents anticipated positive returns.
However, Lenovo argues that long lead times, integration complexity and other readiness barriers can slow the path to realising that value.
AI Express is designed to tackle those barriers by pairing access to AI capacity with validated configurations. Lenovo also offers services intended to simplify procurement, deployment and operations.
“Across Asia Pacific, organisations are looking for practical ways to deploy AI faster while balancing performance, scalability and investment,” observed Lenovo’s Asia Pacific Chief Commercial Officer, Sumir Bhatia.
“Lenovo AI Express gives customers an accelerated path to deploying AI infrastructure that fits their specifications,” Bhatia added, “while mitigating the risk of overbuilding or costly delays.”
Small, Medium And Large
Organisations can choose from three validated quick-start configurations, matched to their model, user and throughput requirements.
The Small configuration is aimed at focused AI inferencing for tens of users at more than 30 tokens per second (TPS). It handles average model sizes of between 7 billion and 70 billion parameters.
It is built on the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650a V4 and powered by two Nvidia RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. It can ship from 15 business days.
The Medium configuration steps up to higher-throughput inferencing and agentic AI for hundreds of users at more than 30 TPS. It handles average model sizes of between 70 billion and 400 billion parameters.
It runs on the ThinkSystem SR675 V3, fitted with eight Nvidia RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs, and can ship from 20 days.

At the other end of the scale, the Large configuration is designed to serve full-scale generative AI models to thousands of users. It covers a wide range of workloads and interactivity levels.
It supports models of up to a trillion parameters and enterprise-scale deployments. It is built on the ThinkSystem SR680a V4 with Nvidia’s HGX B300 platform and can ship from 25 days.
Across the three configurations, AI Express supports processors from both AMD and Intel, giving customers a choice of validated CPU technologies.
The chosen configuration can be extended with enterprise AI software, including Red Hat AI Factory with Nvidia or Nvidia AI Enterprise.
For extra data resilience, Veeam Kasten can be added to protect AI applications, data, models and pipelines.
Conditions Apply
The order-to-ship times come with caveats. They apply to eligible AI Express configurations and selected parts in what Lenovo describes as non-restrictive markets.
The clock only starts once several steps are complete. These include order validation, payment or credit clearance, End User Certification and any applicable due diligence or export approvals.
The user numbers, model sizes and throughput figures for each configuration are based on Lenovo’s internal sizing tool. The company cautions that they vary by model, workload, software and service level agreement.
Nvidia Weighs In
Nvidia frames the program as a response to the infrastructure demands being created by AI agents.
“As AI agents reshape every industry, enterprises need purpose-built infrastructure that can efficiently turn their data into intelligence,” commented Nvidia Vice President of Enterprise Platforms, Chris Marriott.
“Lenovo AI Express combines Lenovo’s validated systems with Nvidia accelerated computing, networking and AI software into ready-to-ship solutions, giving organisations a faster path to deploy AI factories and scale as their workloads and demand for intelligence grow,” Marriott continued.
Beyond The Hardware
The program extends into a range of services intended to speed deployment and simplify the AI factory lifecycle.
These start with identifying use cases and validating return on investment through proofs of concept. They extend to optimising GPU environments for performance, utilisation and cost efficiency.
Lenovo has also introduced Premier Support Plus for Servers, which adds proactive and predictive support capabilities. These are designed to identify issues earlier and help maintain operational continuity in mission-critical environments.
The company is pitching the combination of hardware, software and services as a way for customers to move AI use cases into production using their own data.
Partner Channel
Lenovo is extending AI Express through its global partner ecosystem. It describes this as giving channel partners a simpler, faster and more predictable way to identify and pursue customer AI opportunities.
Through the Lenovo 360 framework, partners can bring validated Lenovo Hybrid AI Factory configurations and capabilities to customers, with support provided throughout the sales process.
Availability, eligibility and ordering processes vary by region, with further guidance to be provided locally. Lenovo did not include pricing in its announcement.
Hybrid AI Strategy
AI Express forms part of Lenovo’s broader hybrid AI strategy. That strategy spans personal AI across multiple devices and enterprise AI aimed at helping customers turn data into insights and value.
The company’s portfolio stretches from PCs, workstations, smartphones, tablets and accessories through to server, storage, edge and high performance computing infrastructure, as well as software and services.
Lenovo reports annual revenue of US$83 billion, is ranked 153rd in the Fortune Global 500 and serves customers in 180 markets.
It operates more than 20 research and development locations, along with a supply chain that includes more than 30 manufacturing sites across 11 markets.
