Lenovo has unveiled a series of updates to its global channel framework, Lenovo 360, introducing simplified partner tiers, a structured services growth pathway and a new technical community aimed at helping partners build deeper expertise.

The changes represent the latest evolution of the framework that underpins how Lenovo engages with and enables its global partner ecosystem. The company pitched the updates as a move to reduce complexity and create clearer routes to profitability for channel partners.

Pascal Bourguet, Chief Sales Strategy and Channels Officer at Lenovo, described the channel as central to the company’s business model.

“It’s how we scale, how we innovate and how we grow together,” Bourguet explained. “With these latest enhancements to Lenovo 360, we’re making it simpler, more predictable and more rewarding for partners to build their business with us.”

He pointed to services-led growth, new technical communities and streamlined tiering as the key pillars of the update.

“We’re focused on giving partners clear pathways to expand their capabilities, drive profitability and deliver greater value to their customers in a rapidly evolving market,” he added.

A Streamlined Tier Structure

One of the headline changes is a simplification of Lenovo’s partner tier structure. The updated model is designed to give partners a more transparent and predictable path to progression, with a clearer link between performance and reward.

Under the revised framework, partners progress from Authorised to Gold to Platinum and beyond. The model combines revenue growth with capability development through skills and accreditations, and aligns incentives more closely with overall partner performance.

All partners enter at the Authorised level, where they gain access to Lenovo 360 Elevate, which the company describes as a reimagined growth engine designed to activate engagement and accelerate partner development.

As partners move up the tiers, they unlock enhanced financial incentives, co-selling opportunities and expanded access to Lenovo resources. Advanced levels offer increasing recognition and collaboration across the company’s global ecosystem.

To support the new structure, Lenovo has also introduced an enhanced digital experience through the Lenovo 360 Partner Hub. The platform provides real-time visibility into performance, accreditations and progression milestones.

Services-Led Growth Takes Centre Stage

From 13 April, Lenovo will expand its services-led strategy with the launch of Lenovo 360 for Services, a structured pathway designed to help partners transition toward recurring, outcome-based business models.

The company pointed to shifting customer demand toward lifecycle services and end-to-end solutions as the driver behind the initiative. The pathway is intended to help partners attach services to every deal and evolve toward higher-value solutions over time.

The framework covers a range of offerings including ready-to-sell attached services and advanced solutions spanning digital workplace, hybrid cloud, AI and Lenovo TruScale as-a-service options.

Lenovo indicated that its services business is expanding at twice the rate of the overall IT services market, a trend the company views as validation of partner demand for services-led transformation.

The pathway integrates enablement, sales tools and incentives into a single experience, giving partners access to training, marketing resources and guided selling platforms.

MSP Pathway Expands Into New Markets

Lenovo is also expanding its Lenovo 360 for Managed Service Providers pathway into additional markets, following what it described as a successful pilot phase.

The MSP pathway will roll out across the UK and Ireland, the Nordics, Benelux, Brazil, Mexico and Australia from 1 April. Lenovo indicated the pathway has already engaged thousands of partners globally and is on track to exceed $100 million in revenue by year-end.

The company positions the MSP pathway as its most mature and widely adopted partner pathway within the Lenovo 360 framework. It provides MSPs with tailored tools, training and incentives to integrate Lenovo solutions into their own managed service offerings.

Nick Allo, IT Director for SemTech IT Solutions, offered a partner perspective on the programme.

“Lenovo 360 for MSP has greatly simplified our support process and boosted profitability,” Allo noted. “By standardising our offerings around workstations and laptops, we bundle services and accessories to provide a full system to our clients.”

Allo highlighted that the approach allows SemTech to achieve margins of up to 25 per cent and warranty services as an Authorised Service Provider.

“Overall, Lenovo’s been a strong partner who’s helped us grow and listened along the way,” he added.

New Technical Community For Partners

Beginning its rollout in April, Lenovo is launching Lenovo 360 Tech Connect, a global technical community aimed at helping partners build deeper expertise and deliver more complex, solution-led outcomes.

The company framed the initiative as a response to growing partner demand for technical knowledge, particularly around AI, hybrid cloud and advanced infrastructure solutions.

Lenovo 360 Tech Connect brings together presales engineers, solution architects and technical specialists in what the company describes as a collaborative, community-driven environment.

Members gain access to tailored technical enablement, curated learning resources and direct engagement with Lenovo engineers. The community also introduces new opportunities for recognition and career development tied to technical contribution.

Lenovo positioned the community as a way to strengthen partners’ credibility with customers while fostering collaboration and continuous learning across its ecosystem.

What It Means For The Channel

Taken together, the updates represent a broad refresh of Lenovo’s channel engagement model. The simplified tiers aim to reduce friction in how partners progress and earn. The services pathway addresses the industry-wide shift toward recurring revenue and as-a-service delivery. The MSP expansion brings a proven pathway to new geographies. And the Tech Connect community targets the technical enablement gap that many partners face as customer demands grow more complex.

For Lenovo, the changes signal a continued investment in its channel-first approach at a time when competition for partner mindshare across the IT vendor landscape remains intense.
