Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
Lenovo has announced a new suite of services aimed at accelerating the adoption of Ai across industries. These services include Lenovo TruScale GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS), Lenovo XClarity One, and advanced liquid cooling solutions. The offerings are designed to help businesses leverage Ai technology using their proprietary data while offering scalable, on-demand GPU resources and systems management tools.
As generative Ai becomes a key investment for enterprises, Lenovo’s solutions enable teams to deploy and manage the necessary technology to streamline operations and enhance productivity. The new services are expected to provide businesses with a simpler and more flexible way to implement Ai-driven processes, with a focus on scalability, security, and sustainability.
Smarter Ai for All
Sumir Bhatia, President, Asia Pacific at Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG), explained the company’s vision for making Ai accessible. “At Lenovo, we are shaping a future where Ai is available to all businesses, empowering them to harness its potential on their own terms. Our new services streamline Ai adoption through an as-a-service model and advanced infrastructure, simplifying Ai strategies across enterprises.”
Kumar Mitra, Managing Director – ANZ at Lenovo ISG, highlighted the growing importance of Ai in the region. “According to our study, 83 per cent of ANZ CIOs see Ai as a competitive edge, and 38 per cent view it as a game changer. Australian businesses are embracing Ai, but they need solutions that are flexible, affordable, and simple. Lenovo’s new services, including GPUaaS, address these needs by expanding Ai applications and simplifying deployment.”
Fast-Tracking AI with TruScale GPU-as-a-Service
Ai and machine learning workloads often require GPUs to speed up data processing, but these resources can be costly and difficult for businesses to acquire. Lenovo’s TruScale GPUaaS offers a pay-as-you-go model that provides immediate access to Nvidia GPUs. This service allows organisations to scale their Ai capabilities without the high upfront costs traditionally associated with GPU procurement.
Through Lenovo’s Intelligent Computer Orchestration (LiCO) technology, businesses can manage workloads and costs efficiently, making the service suitable for multiple separate organisations to share GPU resources. The service supports a wide range of Nvidia Tensor Core GPU options, including the Nvidia H100 and Nvidia L40S.
“Lenovo TruScale GPUaaS allows businesses to access GPU resources on demand, accelerating Ai innovation and making Ai more accessible for everyone,” Mitra said.
AI-Driven Systems Management with Lenovo XClarity One
Lenovo’s new XClarity One platform combines Ai and systems management in a single interface, simplifying the management of IT infrastructure. XClarity One is powered by Lenovo’s AIOps Systems Management engine, which features predictive failure analytics. The platform uses Ai to detect potential system failures and alert IT teams before issues arise, reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
The platform also streamlines the management of all connected devices across the data centre and edge, using a zero-trust architecture for enhanced security. It supports role-based access controls and OTP authentication, ensuring a secure and flexible environment for businesses to scale their infrastructure.
“Lenovo XClarity One represents a significant advancement in system management,” said Bhatia. “By leveraging Ai-driven insights, businesses can optimise their IT operations and improve system reliability.”
Accelerating AI Readiness with Advanced Liquid Cooling
Lenovo’s Power and Cooling Services, which include Lenovo Neptune liquid cooling technology, are designed to improve energy efficiency in Ai computing. The liquid cooling technology helps reduce power consumption by up to 40 per cent while supporting high-density computing for demanding Ai workloads.
As part of its service offering, Lenovo provides data-driven insights into energy efficiency following a site visit to assess power usage and cooling needs. These insights help businesses reclaim unused cooling capacity and defer costs, ensuring their data centres run efficiently while meeting sustainability goals.
“Lenovo Neptune has been helping businesses achieve lower power consumption and higher density computing for more than a decade,” Bhatia said. “With Power and Cooling Services, we’re making it easier for customers to optimise their Ai workloads and support their sustainability initiatives.”
Driving Sustainability in AI Adoption
Implementing sustainable Ai strategies is a priority for many businesses, and Lenovo’s as-a-service models help reduce the complexities of Ai implementation. By offering scalable and energy-efficient solutions, Lenovo is helping businesses achieve their sustainability targets while accessing the computing power needed for Ai-driven innovation.
Lenovo’s new services integrate hardware and facility management, ensuring businesses can operate more efficiently while minimising environmental impact.
