Lenovo has launched its Gen 11 Legion gaming portfolio in Australia, confirming local pricing for two new laptops and giving the country its first look at the Legion Pro Rollable Concept – a device with an OLED display that expands from 16 inches to 24 inches.
The lineup was unveiled at a takeover of Fortress Sydney, which also marked the beginning of Lenovo Legion’s role as the official hardware provider for Fortress venues in Sydney and Melbourne.
Legion 5i targets students, creators and everyday gamers

The Lenovo Legion 5i (15-inch, Gen 11) is positioned as a portable laptop that spans gaming, content creation, streaming and productivity. Lenovo describes it as lighter and thinner than its predecessor, designed for users who move between study, creative work and gaming.
The device runs Intel Core Ultra series 3 processors paired with Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. It is a Windows 11 Copilot+ PC and features Lenovo’s AI Engine+ for tuning power delivery and frame rates across different workloads.
The display is a Lenovo PureSight OLED panel, and the laptop uses Lenovo’s Legion Coldfront Hyper cooling system, which the company states is designed to manage heat and noise under sustained load.
The Legion 5i starts from $4,149 in Australia.
LOQ 15IPH11 as an entry point

The Lenovo LOQ 15IPH11 sits below the Legion range as an entry-level gaming laptop aimed at students and newer gamers. It pairs Intel Core Ultra processors with Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs.
The device uses Hyperchamber Cooling technology to manage airflow over key components, and is available in Luna Grey with up to a 15.3-inch WQXGA display.
The LOQ 15IPH11 starts from $3,339.
Both devices are available through Lenovo.com and retail partners including JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Harvey Norman, Centre Com and Amazon, with select models shipping from mid-2026.
The rollable concept

The centrepiece of the launch event was the Legion Pro Rollable Concept, a device first shown at CES in January 2026 that has not previously been displayed in Australia.
The concept laptop features a rollable Lenovo PureSight OLED Gaming display that extends from both ends using a dual-motor, tension-based mechanism. A dedicated tensioning system maintains consistent tautness across the panel, while low-friction materials protect the OLED surface during the rolling cycle.
The display operates in three modes. Focus Mode runs at 16 inches for precision work. Tactical Mode expands to 21.5 inches for wider field-of-view tasks. Arena Mode extends to a full 24 inches, giving the user an ultrawide display from a device that starts at a standard laptop size.
Lenovo is targeting the device at competitive eSports players who travel to events and need large-screen performance in a portable form factor.
The concept is based on the Legion Pro 7i platform, running Intel Core Ultra processors and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. It includes Lenovo AI Engine+, powered by the Lenovo LA Core, which features real-time scenario detection for adjusting frame rates and resource allocation during gameplay.

Fortress partnership and FIFA World Cup tie-in
The launch event doubled as the start of Lenovo Legion’s partnership with Fortress, the gaming and entertainment venue operator. Lenovo is now the official hardware provider for Fortress locations in Sydney and Melbourne, placing Legion-branded devices throughout the venues.
The football-themed event also highlighted Lenovo’s role as FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Technology Partner.
Clifford Chong, Gaming Category Lead for Lenovo APJ, outlined the company’s direction for the gaming portfolio.
“Gaming is an ever-evolving category which is no longer defined by a single device or form factor,” Chong stated. “The Gen 11 suite of Legion products showcase the gaming performance on offer to meet the needs of gamers today – whether they are at a desk, on the move, or in a competitive arena.”
Chong added that the rollable and foldable concept devices represent Lenovo’s exploration of future form factors.
“Through the Legion Go Fold Concept and the Legion Pro Rollable Concept, we are continuing to explore new designs for the future of gaming, which is more flexible, personal and powerful than ever before,” he noted.
