Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
Lenovo has unveiled new IT infrastructure bundles designed to help small and medium businesses (SMBs) modernise their operations and adopt Ai without the expense and complexity of traditional enterprise deployments.
The announcement highlights pre-tested and validated packages that combine servers, software and consumption-based pricing, aimed at accelerating deployment and reducing barriers to adoption.
Focus On SMB Growth
Lenovo said the offerings are designed to support SMBs under pressure to keep pace with rapid technology shifts while managing limited budgets and staff.
“SMBs face a challenging and competitive landscape, with many struggling to modernise IT while keeping costs under control,” said Sumir Bhatia, President, Asia Pacific, Infrastructure Solutions Group at Lenovo.
“Our SMB portfolio simplifies the way businesses acquire, deploy and manage IT. By providing Ai-ready, enterprise-grade technology that is flexible, secure and easy to adopt, we are giving SMBs the tools to compete and grow with confidence.”
Business-Ready Bundles
Lenovo is offering several pre-tested bundles tailored for different needs:
- Business Ready Infrastructure in a Box: Built on ThinkSystem SR635 V3 or SR630 V4 servers, validated with Windows Server 2025 Hyper-V, designed to simplify IT scaling.
- Ai Edge-Ready Node: Delivered through the ThinkEdge SE100 and powered by Scale Computing HyperCore, this package enables lightweight, on-demand edge deployments.
- Business Protection in a Box: Provides resilience for critical workloads using ThinkSystem SR650 V3 or SR630 V3 servers with ThinkSystem storage arrays, supporting up to 140 virtual machines.
Kumar Mitra, Executive Director, CAP & ANZ, Infrastructure Solutions Group at Lenovo, said the packages are intended to reduce barriers to Ai adoption.
“SMBs are the backbone of Australia’s digital economy, yet Ai adoption remains low. These pre-tested, scalable and secure solutions with flexible consumption options help SMBs modernise efficiently and unlock Ai-driven growth without the complexity or cost of building IT from scratch.”
Management And Security
The bundles are supported by Lenovo XClarity One, a cloud portal offering Ai-driven visibility, preventative maintenance and cost reduction. Veeam integration is included to safeguard against ransomware and system failures, providing near-instant recovery for critical workloads.
Lenovo said the systems are designed with validated Ai configurations that eliminate the need to build custom solutions, allowing SMBs to focus on use cases such as real-time threat detection and customer insights.
Flexible Consumption With TruScale
Lenovo is extending its TruScale Infrastructure-as-a-Service model to SMBs, offering leasing, subscription and consumption-based pricing. TruScale allows businesses to pay only for what they use and scale services as required.
The company said customers using TruScale have reported up to 30 per cent faster rollouts. Lenovo cited Malaysian firm Microtree Sdn Bhd, which used TruScale to expand its portfolio with Backup-as-a-Service without significant upfront costs.
“TruScale allows precise scaling without overpaying,” Lenovo said. “For SMBs, it becomes a strategic advantage that accelerates operational agility.”
Looking Ahead
Lenovo is positioning the new offerings as part of a broader push to bring Ai-ready infrastructure to smaller businesses, while maintaining a global portfolio that spans devices, servers, storage and edge computing.
