Leader Partners With Usecure To Distribute Human Risk Management Platform To Australian MSPs

Australian distributor Leader has signed a distribution agreement with usecure, a provider of human risk management and security awareness solutions designed for managed service providers and resellers.

The partnership will see usecure’s platform made available to Leader’s network of more than 12,000 channel partners across Australia through the Leader Cloud marketplace.

usecure’s platform combines security awareness training, simulated phishing, dark web monitoring and policy management within a single multi-tenant console. The platform is used by more than 1,800 MSP partners protecting more than 500,000 end users worldwide.

What the deal involves

Under the agreement, Leader partners will be able to deploy usecure’s tools to deliver automated training programs, run phishing simulations and monitor the dark web for compromised credentials on behalf of their customers.

The platform is built around a per-user subscription model, which Leader says will give partners an opportunity to build predictable, recurring revenue streams from security awareness services.

Hanh Tran, Cloud Business Manager at Leader, explained that the addition of usecure to Leader’s cloud portfolio is designed to help MSPs address the growing challenge of human-driven cyber risk.

“usecure brings immediate, practical value to MSPs and resellers: reducing human risk, strengthening compliance and turning security awareness into a recurring service line,” Tran said. “By making usecure available through Leader Cloud, we’re helping partners turn end-user behaviour into a measurable security outcome – without complexity.”

Channel-first approach

usecure’s platform was built from the ground up for the MSP channel rather than being retrofitted from an enterprise product. It features admin and reseller panels that support customer tenant onboarding and lifecycle management, making it suited for partners looking to standardise security awareness programs across multiple client environments.

Charles Preston, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at usecure, pointed to the Australian MSP market as a key growth area for the company.

“This partnership will help Australian MSPs deliver scalable human risk management to their customers, while giving them the tools to drive recurring revenue and measurable security outcomes,” Preston said.

Compliance and frameworks

The platform supports a number of regulatory and security frameworks, including GDPR, ISO 27001 and the Australian Signals Directorate’s Essential Eight maturity model.

usecure’s automated training journeys are designed to align with these frameworks, providing reporting capabilities that allow MSPs to demonstrate compliance progress to their customers. For partners operating in regulated industries or serving clients with governance requirements, the platform offers a way to address security awareness obligations without building custom training programs.

How partners can access it

Leader will make usecure available through the Leader Cloud marketplace, where it will sit alongside the distributor’s existing portfolio of cloud, cybersecurity, software and telecommunications offerings.

The distributor is planning to provide onboarding guidance and enablement sessions to help partners package, price and position usecure as part of their managed services stack.

Leader operates five branches across Australia and offers national stock, dedicated account management and partner support services including helpdesk, training and marketing resources. The company distributes across hardware, cloud, cybersecurity, software and telecommunications categories.

Addressing human risk

The partnership reflects a broader industry trend of MSPs expanding their cybersecurity offerings beyond endpoint protection and network security to include human risk management. Phishing attacks and social engineering remain among the most common vectors for security breaches, and automated training platforms like usecure aim to reduce the likelihood of employees falling victim to these tactics.

For Leader’s partner network, the availability of usecure through a familiar distribution channel removes some of the friction involved in evaluating and onboarding a new vendor, allowing MSPs to add security awareness training to their service catalogue with support from their existing distributor relationship.
