Keeper Security has launched a new integration that brings its privileged access management capabilities directly into the ServiceNow platform, allowing enterprise security teams to handle vault operations without leaving their existing IT workflows.
The Keeper Security Workflow application for ServiceNow connects Keeper’s vault to ServiceNow’s IntegrationHub, Flow Designer and Service Catalog portal. The goal is to create a governed, self-service experience for managing privileged access requests, credential storage and endpoint privilege management approvals.
The integration is available now on the ServiceNow Store.
How It Works
The application runs on the Keeper Commander Command-Line Interface (CLI) operating in service mode on a ServiceNow MID Server. This architecture gives ServiceNow a direct and secure channel into the Keeper Vault while preserving Keeper’s zero-knowledge encryption model.
A guided setup process walks administrators through MID Server configuration, CLI installation, service mode activation and approval group assignment. No custom code is required.
ServiceNow is a cloud-based enterprise software platform used to automate and digitise complex business processes. It is adopted by more than 85 per cent of the Fortune 500.
Access Requests And Approval Workflows
The integration covers several core use cases for security and IT teams.
End users can request access to specific Keeper Vault records or folders through the ServiceNow Service Catalog. Those requests are automatically routed to designated approval groups, and once approved, records are shared directly to the requesting user. A full audit trail is maintained throughout the process.
For endpoint privilege management, requests raised from endpoint devices automatically generate Security Incident Response tickets in ServiceNow. Administrators can approve or deny those requests within the platform, and incident tickets are closed with appropriate comments once resolved.
Credential Storage And Sharing
The application also allows administrators and fulfilment teams to store new credentials directly in the Keeper Vault from within ServiceNow. Supported record types include database credentials, login records, server credentials, SSH keys, software licences, secure notes and membership records.
Security teams can search Keeper Vault records and folders by name or UID from within the ServiceNow task interface, which is designed to speed up fulfilment of access requests.
A one-time share capability lets administrators generate and deliver time-limited record shares to users without granting permanent vault access.
Reducing Friction Without Reducing Control
Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-Founder of Keeper Security, explained that the integration reflects how the company approaches enterprise deployments.
“Meet organisations inside their existing platforms and make security frictionless without making it permissive,” Lurey stated.
“The Keeper Commander CLI running in service mode on the MID Server gives ServiceNow a direct, secure channel into the Keeper Vault, enabling real automation without compromising our zero-knowledge architecture.”

The Problem It Addresses
As enterprise environments grow in complexity, security teams face increasing pressure to provide controlled and auditable access to privileged credentials and sensitive records while keeping friction low for end users.
Manual processes for requesting and granting vault access can create delays, compliance gaps and inconsistent enforcement. The integration is designed to eliminate that friction by embedding Keeper’s privileged access controls natively into ServiceNow, where IT and security teams already operate.
