Infosys has announced a new mental health initiative in collaboration with Mental Health Foundation Australia (MHFA), launching a self-help app called Supportive Mind for use across Australia and New Zealand.

The app is designed to provide on-demand wellbeing tools and Ai-assisted support to help individuals prioritise mental health amid work, education and personal responsibilities.

CSR Project Targets Everyday Mental Wellbeing

Developed under Infosys’ corporate social responsibility banner, the app offers real-time features including mood tracking, wellness challenges, self-care suggestions and Ai-driven recommendations. It also incorporates walking challenges and push notifications to encourage healthy habits throughout the day.

According to Infosys, Supportive Mind leverages the company’s Topaz Ai stack to refine user experiences and assess social impact over time. Topaz is the company’s generative Ai platform, which underpins a range of services and digital tools across its product suite.

Andrew Groth, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific at Infosys, said the initiative reflects the company’s broader goals in the region.

“Our purpose is to amplify human potential and create opportunities for people to thrive,” Groth said. “We understand the critical role mental health awareness plays in building inclusive, supportive communities.”

He said the company’s work with MHFA highlights a focus on scalable technology that can deliver tangible wellbeing outcomes.

Community Rollout Begins With Pilot Sectors

The app is set to launch first through pilot programs in the education, workplace and community sectors.

MHFA Chairperson Professor, Melissa Green, said the app aligns with the foundation’s mission to support mental health through practical and accessible solutions.

“We are thrilled to introduce Supportive Mind to the public in collaboration with Infosys,” Green said. “This app showcases our commitment to improving physical and mental health through innovative solutions.”

She said the tool is designed to help users integrate wellbeing habits into their daily lives, particularly for those balancing full schedules.

Addressing Barriers To Mental Health Support

Infosys said the app was built in response to growing demand for support mechanisms that can be accessed on the go. It targets individuals who may not have the time or ability to engage with traditional support services but still need proactive resources.

By embedding personalised insights and feedback loops into the app’s interface, the partners hope to create a digital space where first aiders and individuals alike can monitor and maintain their wellbeing.

The Supportive Mind app is now available to selected users in pilot programs, with broader release plans expected following initial trials.
