HubSpot And OpenAI Launch AI Growth Bundle To Target SMB Market

Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements

HubSpot and OpenAI have deepened their partnership with the launch of an AI Growth Bundle aimed at giving small and medium-sized businesses access to AI and growth tools at a reduced cost.

The bundle includes HubSpot Starter and HubSpot credits at up to 65 per cent off for one year, along with a buy-one-get-one-free offer on ChatGPT Business seats for a year.

The move comes alongside HubSpot becoming the first CRM platform to integrate with ChatGPT Ads, allowing businesses to build, launch and measure advertising campaigns directly within HubSpot.

ChatGPT connector gains traction

HubSpot was the first CRM to offer a connector to ChatGPT when it launched in 2025. The company says the integration has since seen 250 per cent growth in weekly active users, with businesses using it to analyse and manage sales pipelines, track deals and resolve tickets.

The updated connector adds further capabilities, including running email campaigns, creating landing pages for ads, analysing closed-won deals, optimising for AI search with AEO and tracking which leads are progressing – all within ChatGPT and drawing on customer data stored in HubSpot.

ChatGPT Ads integration

The ChatGPT Ads integration is designed to address a common pain point for SMBs: the complexity of managing campaigns across multiple, disconnected tools.

By bringing ChatGPT Ads into HubSpot, businesses can build campaigns, set budgets and launch ads alongside their existing channels. Because the integration sits on top of CRM data, targeting draws on existing customer context from day one.

The integration also provides attribution that connects ad spend through to closed deals, giving businesses the ability to trace revenue back to individual campaigns. HubSpot argues that level of attribution is only possible when a CRM and marketing platform share the same system.

For businesses already using HubSpot’s AEO tools, the integration brings paid and organic AI search efforts into a single view, combining visibility recommendations with the ability to launch ads on ChatGPT from within HubSpot.

Partnership rationale

VP of Global Partnerships at OpenAI, Brian Landsman, commented: “Connecting ChatGPT with the customer knowledge in HubSpot helps teams do more with what they already know, from creating a campaign to preparing for a customer conversation.”

“Together, we’re making AI more useful and accessible to the businesses that want to grow,” he added.

Chief Product and Technology Officer at HubSpot, Duncan Lennox, explained: “We’ve been working with OpenAI because we share a belief that AI shouldn’t just benefit the biggest companies.”

“With our HubSpot connector for ChatGPT, new ChatGPT Ads integration and new AI Growth Bundle offer, we’re giving every scaling business a real shot at showing up where buyers are, understanding what’s working and acting on it quickly. That’s what this partnership is really about,” Lennox added.

Reaching buyers in new channels

HubSpot frames the ChatGPT Ads integration as a response to shifting buyer behaviour, noting that customers are increasingly using ChatGPT before visiting a company’s website.

The company positions AI search as a high-intent channel and argues that early adoption could give SMBs an advantage as the space develops.

The AI Growth Bundle is available at offers.hubspot.com/ai-growth-bundle.

HubSpot’s platform currently serves more than 306,000 customers across more than 135 countries, with over 2,000 integrations available through its App Marketplace.
