Gigabyte is marking its 40th anniversary in 2026, a milestone that traces the Taiwanese hardware manufacturer’s journey from the early days of personal computing through to the current AI era.
Founded in 1986, the company has spent four decades building a product range that spans motherboards, graphics cards, laptops, monitors, servers and enterprise AI infrastructure.
Gigabyte argues that a consistent focus on dependability, performance and practicality for everyday users has underpinned its development over that period.
The company points to a series of signature innovations that defined successive product generations, including its Ultra Durable design philosophy, the performance-oriented Super Overclock series and the Project STEALTH concept, which aimed to simplify and clean up the PC building process.
Industry Recognition
The anniversary comes on the back of recognition from a number of industry award programs over the years, including the CES Innovation Awards, Computex Best Choice Awards, Red Dot Design Awards and iF Design Awards.
Those accolades span technology, performance, design and user experience categories.
Gigabyte has also been expanding its presence in enterprise and AI markets, building out what it describes as a cloud-to-edge AI ecosystem alongside its traditional consumer hardware lines.
Community Campaign
To mark the occasion, Gigabyte is framing the anniversary as a shared moment with its global user community under the campaign theme “Enter Infinity.”
The company is positioning the campaign as a celebration of both its history and its ambitions for the next generation of gaming, content creation, AI and computing.
As part of the milestone, Gigabyte is launching its My Perfect Setup campaign, which invites users to share their Gigabyte stories and have their names added to a 40th Anniversary Wall of Fame.
Participants will have the chance to win a 40th Anniversary Limited-Edition Motherboard and a 40th Anniversary Gift Pack.
