Epson Australia has announced two additions to its workgroup business printer lineup, the WorkForce Pro EM-C800 multi-function printer (MFP) and the EP-C800 single-function printer (SFP). The devices are designed to provide high productivity, low energy consumption, and minimal waste, addressing the needs of busy work environments.

Both printers feature Epson’s PrecisionCore technology, offering fast, reliable performance while prioritising sustainability.

Designed for Business Efficiency

The EM-C800 and EP-C800 deliver print speeds of up to 25 ISO pages per minute in both mono and colour, making them suitable for high-demand office settings. They feature a replaceable ink pack system (RIPS), allowing users to print up to 50,000 ISO pages in mono or 20,000 ISO pages in colour before needing to replace ink packs.

“This new range is designed to maximise efficiency while keeping operational costs low,” said Craig Heckenberg, Managing Director of Epson Australia. “With features like our replaceable ink pack system and energy-efficient PrecisionCore technology, these printers provide a practical solution for businesses looking to streamline their operations.”

Key Features of the WorkForce Pro EM-C800 and EP-C800

Epson’s new models come equipped with several features tailored to enhance productivity and reliability:

  • Reliability: Built for monthly print volumes of up to 5,000 pages.

  • Energy Efficiency: Operates with low power consumption, aligning with sustainability goals.

  • High Capacity: Paper capacity of up to 1,830 pages with optional trays.

  • Minimal User Intervention: The replaceable ink pack system reduces the need for frequent replacements.

  • Compact Design: Small footprint for easy integration into streamlined workstations.

The EM-C800 also includes a 50-page automatic document feeder (ADF) and supports features such as auto two-sided printing, duplex scanning at speeds of up to 60 images per minute, and scan-to-email functionality.

Seamless Integration and Advanced Security

Both models support PCL3 and Adobe PostScript 3 for compatibility with shared network environments. They also integrate with leading third-party solutions and enterprise applications via an open platform.

The printers are compatible with the Epson Solutions Suite, a platform designed to simplify printer installation, device configuration, and workflow management. The suite also enables remote diagnostics and operation. Advanced security features allow businesses to control user access and safeguard sensitive information.

“These printers are ideal for workgroups requiring reliable, secure, and cost-effective printing solutions,” Heckenberg said. “They address common pain points such as frequent maintenance and energy inefficiency, allowing businesses to focus on their core tasks.”

Superior Image Quality and Sustainability

The EM-C800 and EP-C800 use DURABrite Ultra pigment ink, which dries quickly and is water resistant, ensuring vibrant colours and crisp text for professional results. Built with fewer moving parts, the printers require less maintenance and support Epson’s Heat-Free technology, contributing to energy savings and reduced environmental impact.

Epson’s business printing solutions range from desktop devices for hybrid work environments to high-performance enterprise printers. The portfolio is designed to meet diverse market needs with an emphasis on reliability, affordability, and sustainability.
