Duck Creek Technologies has been selected by MDA National (MDAN), an Australia-wide medical defence organisation supporting over 50,000 members, to implement a new suite of solutions. This initiative aims to enhance the support MDAN offers to medical practitioners, strengthening the level of care available across communities.
Duck Creek’s platform will equip MDAN with advanced policy administration, member self-service portals, billing, and analytics solutions. These upgrades are designed to streamline operations, improve risk management, and boost self-service options for MDAN’s growing member base. Building a Future-Ready Platform
Duck Creek’s cloud-based OnDemand platform is set to replace MDAN’s outdated system, prioritising agility and user experience for both members and staff. The platform’s modular design, reusability, and configurability were significant factors in MDAN’s selection process, alongside its automation capabilities and scalability.
MDAN’s Chief Executive Officer, Ian Anderson, highlighted the impact this partnership will have on the organisation’s operational goals. “Transforming our technological capability through our partnership with Duck Creek will significantly enhance our ability to deliver on our purpose of supporting and protecting members whilst promoting good medical practice, leading to a successful and sustainable future,” Anderson said.
The program also aims to drive membership growth, address evolving member needs, and facilitate proactive risk management. “The increase in automation will improve productivity and keep costs low for members,” Anderson added. “It will also free up our team to provide the personalised guidance and care our members rely on.”
