Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
D-Link ANZ has launched its latest Aquila Pro M60 AX6000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Systems. Following the success of the Aquila Pro Ai M30 AX3000 Mesh Systems, this new release focuses on improving Wi-Fi coverage, speed, and usability for home networks. The M60 systems are available in a single unit, 2-pack, and 3-pack options, allowing users to scale their Wi-Fi setup to suit their home size.
The Aquila Pro M60 systems aim to enhance the home networking experience through built-in Ai technology. This includes features such as Ai Wi-Fi optimisation, Ai mesh management, and Ai traffic control, all designed to improve performance for connected devices.
Aesthetic Design Meets Practicality
The design of the M60 series draws from the Aquila constellation and the earlier M30 model. The wall-mountable units feature an elegant look that complements modern home décor. With five upgraded internal antennas, the M60 provides wider and more reliable coverage, designed to be the centrepiece of a connected home.
D-Link has also prioritised sustainability in the M60’s design. The chassis is made from post-consumer recycled materials, and the packaging is environmentally friendly, using natural, mineral oil-free ink. Additionally, the M60 includes a Wi-Fi 6 Target Wake Time (TWT) feature to help reduce power consumption. The router also has a health mode, which lowers energy usage during the night by switching to ultra-low power standby.
Connectivity and Coverage
The Aquila Pro M60 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System aims to address common pain points such as dead zones and poor speed. With its special antenna array, the system provides spherical coverage, eliminating connectivity issues. The single unit covers up to 280 square metres, while the 2-pack covers up to 510 square metres, and the 3-pack can handle homes as large as 740 square metres.
Powered by Wi-Fi 6 technology, the system offers speeds up to 6Gbps. It supports a 160MHz bandwidth, a 2.5G internet WAN port, and four gigabit LAN ports, making it ideal for smart TVs, gaming consoles, and PCs.
Ai Technology Integration
The M60 system uses Ai technology to manage its performance. The Ai Wi-Fi optimiser selects the best channel for each device, minimising interference. The Ai mesh optimiser handles auto-path selection and ensures stable network coverage through self-healing capabilities. For high-bandwidth activities like 4K/8K video streaming and video calls, the Ai traffic optimiser prioritises data flow, ensuring uninterrupted service.
The system also includes advanced security features, such as WPA3 encryption and compliance with IEC 62443-4-1 standards, to protect against unauthorised access. Separate guest networks and parental controls provide additional layers of security.
Smart Home Integration and Setup
The M60 system integrates with popular smart home platforms such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This allows users to control their smart home devices with voice commands, simplifying management of connected gadgets.
Setting up the M60 Mesh System is designed to be user-friendly. D-Link’s Aquila Pro Ai app guides users through the setup process and monitors the network’s performance. The app also provides weekly performance reports, even when users are away from home.
Eco-Friendly and Futureproof
In line with D-Link’s long-running environmental initiative, the Aquila Pro M60 is designed with sustainability in mind. It features post-consumer recycled materials and uses eco-friendly packaging. The system’s low energy consumption features, including TWT, align with D-Link’s commitment to reducing environmental impact.
The M60 also supports future scalability. Additional Aquila Pro Ai devices can be added to the network as needed, allowing for expansion without replacing existing equipment.
Pricing and Availability
The Aquila Pro M60 AX6000 Wi-Fi Mesh Systems are now available in Australia. The single unit retails for $330, the 2-pack for $580, and the 3-pack for $800. They can be purchased from D-Link’s website or from authorised partners and retailers.
