Cremorne Digital Hub (CDH) is set to host the first-ever Tech Week, a series of events bringing together innovators from across Victoria’s tech scene. The event aims to highlight the growing technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation community in Cremorne’s tech precinct.
Running from October 28 to 31, Tech Week will feature more than 20 events, focusing on key topics such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, sustainability, tech talent, venture capital, digital futures, indigenous expertise, workplace innovation, and diversity.
Cremorne has quickly established itself as a hub of digital innovation, hosting leading startups, scaleups, and some of Australia’s well-known unicorn companies, including Carsales, SEEK, MYOB, and REA Group.
Tech Week will continue to strengthen Cremorne’s position as the centre of Victoria’s tech scene, with a variety of innovators, founders, and guest speakers lined up to share their insights.
A platform for technology and collaboration
Cremorne Digital Hub CEO, Pete Osborne, believes that Tech Week is a natural progression for the area. Osborne said, “Tech Week is a key event for shaping the future of technology in Australia. It reflects our commitment to continuing Cremorne’s role as the leading destination for tech innovation in Victoria.”
Osborne added that the event is focused on providing opportunities for attendees to connect, share ideas, and collaborate. “We’re offering people the chance to form new relationships, pitch ideas, learn new skills, and work with industry experts, all while being inspired by leaders in the tech industry.”
The event aims to become a permanent fixture in Victoria’s tech calendar, with a focus on promoting growth and innovation throughout the region. “Our goal is to make Tech Week an annual event that supports the tech community from metro areas to regional centres,” Osborne said.
Event highlights
Tech Week will include several key events aimed at engaging different segments of the tech community. Some of the highlights include:
