Colorful Technology Launches iGame Origo Gaming Laptops

Colorful Technology has introduced its iGame M15 Origo and iGame M16 Origo laptops, the first entries in its flagship iGame range, with a focus on premium performance and Ai-driven features.

The launch signals a broader push from Colorful into the high-end laptop market, targeting gamers, content creators and professionals looking for portable performance machines.

Hardware Specification And Performance Focus

Both models feature Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 series laptop GPUs and Intel 14th Gen Core HX or Intel Core Ultra processors. The combined power draw reaches up to 200W, reflecting the laptops’ ambition to cater to users needing both graphical muscle and general compute performance.

Colorful says the systems are designed for demanding tasks including gaming, 3D rendering and professional content creation.

“Our goal with the Origo series is to create machines that handle everything from gaming to editing and productivity without compromising on design,” a spokesperson for Colorful said.

The company claims that while the M15 and M16 are performance-oriented, portability remains a core feature. The systems aim to meet the growing demand for lightweight laptops that do not forgo thermal capacity or battery endurance.

Industrial Design Inspired By Space

Both the M15 and M16 are styled around futuristic, space-themed aesthetics. Colorful describes the design language as, “inspired by black holes” and says it has sought to blend appearance with function.

The chassis is minimalist, angular and features RGB lighting elements that are integrated rather than pronounced. Colorful refers to the overall design balance as an “All-Round Dominator” but has not defined how the form factor differs from other brands in the same segment.

“Our design team has focused on delivering something that feels new but doesn’t compromise the internal layout or airflow,” the spokesperson said.

Built-In Ai Assistant: Star Island

A key differentiator for the Origo laptops is the inclusion of Star Island, an Ai-based assistant built into both devices.

Star Island is designed to assist with study, creativity and gaming tasks. It provides content suggestions, organises productivity tasks and can make interface adjustments based on usage patterns.

While Star Island is positioned as a smart companion, it is unclear whether it runs locally or leverages cloud processing. Colorful has not disclosed which model it is built on or whether it is trained in-house.

“Star Island is not just a feature add-on. It’s designed to become part of the user’s workflow,” said Colorful’s product manager during a media briefing.

Colorful has yet to confirm retail pricing or availability outside China, but international distribution is expected. More information will be made available via Colorful’s official site.
