Belkin Expands Its Nintendo Switch 2 Accessories Range With Charging Grip And Travel Bag

Belkin has launched three new Nintendo Switch 2 accessories for the Australian and New Zealand markets, adding a charging grip, a standard grip and a travel bag to its gaming portfolio.

The products join the Charging Case Pro that debuted in January and represent the company’s continued push into gaming accessories, a category it first entered in June 2025.

The three new products are the Gaming Charging Grip for Nintendo Switch 2, the Gaming Grip for Nintendo Switch 2 and the Gaming Travel Bag for Nintendo Switch 2. Each is available in Black, Lilac and Olive colourways.

Logan Olson, Director of Product Management for the Future Ventures Division at Belkin, described gaming as “a natural extension of Belkin’s legacy in mobile power and accessories.”

“Since entering this space last year, we’ve focused on designing products that solve real consumer needs, and these new additions expand our Nintendo Switch 2 ecosystem with more ways to comfortably play, stay powered and travel with confidence,” Olson added.

Charging Grip

The centrepiece of the new range is the Gaming Charging Grip for Nintendo Switch 2, which combines an ergonomic, non-slip grip with a detachable magnetic 10,000 mAh power bank.

The power bank clips onto the rear of the console and delivers up to 30W of charging via an integrated USB-C cable. Belkin claims it can provide up to 1.5 times the console’s battery capacity, though the company notes actual results will vary depending on usage conditions.

A digital battery display on the grip shows charging status at a glance, giving players a way to monitor power levels during longer sessions.

The design allows users to detach Joy-Cons without removing the grip itself, and Belkin has maintained compatibility with the Switch 2’s kickstand and dock, meaning players do not need to remove the accessory when switching between handheld and docked modes.

On the sustainability front, the product housing – excluding the cable – is made with a minimum of 72 per cent post-consumer recycled materials.

The Charging Grip is priced at $150 AUD and $160 NZD.

Travel Bag

The Gaming Travel Bag for Nintendo Switch 2 is a soft, cross-body bag built for carrying a console and accessories in a single package.

It features a dedicated soft-lined pocket with a Velcro strap to hold the console in place, along with storage for up to 10 game cards, a Pro Controller and other accessories.

The bag includes quick-access front pockets, a mesh pocket for organisation and a hidden compartment sized for smart trackers such as Apple AirTags or Tile devices.

A detachable and adjustable cross-body strap comes with left and right buckle options. When not in use, the strap stores in its own dedicated pocket. Belkin has also designed the Travel Bag to be compatible with the Charging Grip, so gamers can carry a grip-equipped console inside without needing to remove it first.

The bag ships in plastic-free packaging.

It is priced at $55 AUD and $65 NZD.

Gaming Grip

The third product in the range is the Gaming Grip for Nintendo Switch 2, a slimmer and more affordable alternative to the Charging Grip that strips out the power bank while retaining the ergonomic design.

The Grip offers the same non-slip finish and modular functionality as its powered counterpart. Users can remove Joy-Cons without detaching the grip, and it remains compatible with the console’s kickstand and dock.

It is aimed at players who want a more comfortable handheld experience but do not need the added battery capacity of the Charging Grip.

The Gaming Grip is priced at $50 AUD and $60 NZD.

Availability

All three products are available through belkin.com/au and selected retailers.
