Avetta Adds Three ANZ Partners To Supply Chain Compliance Ecosystem

Supply chain compliance platform provider, Avetta, has signed partnership agreements with three Australia and New Zealand-based companies as it expands the ecosystem of services and integrations surrounding its core platform.

The three new partners are Perth-based safety consultancy, Epigroup, source-to-pay platform provider, Unimarket, and field operations compliance firm, Wakata. Each brings a different capability that plugs into Avetta’s platform, which is used by more than 360,000 businesses across over 120 countries for supplier prequalification, compliance management and safety benchmarking.

Connecting Compliance To Procurement

The Unimarket deal is the most technically specific of the three. Unimarket’s source-to-pay platform has been integrated with Avetta’s systems, embedding supplier readiness, risk and compliance data directly into procurement and sourcing workflows.

The aim is to surface verified supplier information at the point where buying and sourcing decisions are actually made, rather than keeping compliance data siloed from procurement processes.

Director of ANZ Partnerships at Unimarket, Dale Burgess, described the integration in functional terms.

“By connecting Avetta’s supplier intelligence with Unimarket’s source-to-pay platform, organisations can gain greater clarity and control and can make more informed decisions across the supplier lifecycle and buying journey,” he explained.

Unimarket’s platform also includes AI-enabled tooling, though the companies did not detail which elements of the integration draw on those capabilities.

Safety Culture And Psychosocial Risk

Epigroup, based in Perth, works in safety consulting with a focus on psychosocial risk, technical safety staffing and safety-related media production. The partnership positions Epigroup as a referral partner for Avetta customers looking for hands-on support in areas such as workplace culture and psychosocial hazard management.

Psychosocial risk has become a growing compliance priority across Australian workplaces following regulatory changes that have placed greater obligations on organisations to identify and manage psychological hazards alongside physical ones.

Field Operations And Asset Management

Wakata extends Avetta’s platform into field-level operations, covering worker assessments and plant and equipment management. The partnership is designed to connect contractor compliance and worker readiness data with on-the-ground asset management and assessment records.

Director at Wakata, Emmy-Clare Rule, framed the partnership around the gap between compliance systems and what happens at the worksite.

“Bringing together worker readiness, asset and equipment management with connected assessment records helps organisations see what matters and act with greater confidence,” she noted.

Building Out The Partner Ecosystem

SVP of Alliances at Avetta, Scott Spencer, positioned the three deals as part of a broader strategy to build out a connected ecosystem around the platform.

“By bringing together trusted partners with specialised expertise, we’re expanding the support available to organisations as they strengthen safety, manage risk and improve operational performance,” he commented.

“Whether through deeper platform capabilities or access to expert services, these partnerships help close the work readiness gap and keep work moving forward.”

The partner model reflects an approach common among platform vendors in the compliance and supply chain space, where the core platform handles prequalification and data management while specialist partners deliver adjacent services such as consulting, field management or procurement integration.

Sydney Summit

Unimarket and Wakata will both appear at the 2026 Avetta Summit Series event in Sydney on 10 September, where they will be part of a Connection Centre set up for in-person meetings between clients, suppliers, contractors and partners.

More information on Avetta is available on the company’s Australian website.
