Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has used its Computex 2026 press event to launch Edition 20, a broad collection of limited-edition products marking the gaming brand’s 20th anniversary. The lineup spans components, desktops, monitors, peripherals, networking gear, lifestyle accessories and even a board game, all tied together by a black-and-gold design language.
ROG was founded in 2006 as an Asus sub-brand focused on gaming hardware, starting with a single motherboard. It has since expanded into laptops, desktops, graphics cards, monitors, routers, peripherals and accessories.
Asus Chairman, Jonney Shih, used his opening speech to reflect on the brand’s trajectory.
“The Journey of Dare began with a defiant spirit, a refusal to settle for the status quo. We don’t just play, we play to win, but victory was never our finish line. With every win we pushed further, moving beyond performance to reimagine aesthetics and redefine the entire ecosystem. Twenty years on, we didn’t just change the game, we transformed the world around it,” Shih told attendees.
The Edition 20 design language draws on four visual elements: ROG Black for strength and precision, ROG Red for the brand’s heritage, Crystal Lens for a forward-looking aesthetic and Radiant Gold to mark the anniversary milestone.
Alongside the product announcements, ROG introduced ROG Lab, described as a platform for exploring AI-driven innovation and deeper ecosystem integration.
