Asus has secured official Adobe validation for its ProArt display range, making the monitors the first to be certified for use with Adobe Premiere Colour Mode across HDR video editing workflows.

The validation is the result of a long-running partnership between the two companies and is aimed at giving film and video professionals greater consistency and accuracy when working in HDR.

What The Validation Means For Creators

The Adobe validation applies to several monitors in the ProArt Display lineup, including the ProArt Display PA279CRV and the OLED PA27UCDMR. Both offer 4K HDR resolution with 99 per cent DCI-P3 and 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut coverage.

Each ProArt display is factory-calibrated to deliver a Delta E of less than 2 colour difference, which means the screens are designed to produce accurate colour reproduction without requiring manual adjustment out of the box.

Buyers of select ProArt monitors will also receive a three-month Adobe Creative Cloud trial as part of the partnership.

NAB Show Demonstrations

Adobe plans to train approximately 1,500 attendees at its Colour Lab in the Central Hall of NAB Show 2026, where creators will be able to test Premiere Colour Mode workflows on the validated ProArt hardware.

Karl Soule, Film and Video Workflow Specialist at Adobe, is scheduled to present as part of the ProArt Masters Talks series at the show.

“The future of editing begins in Premiere on ProArt Displays,” Soule is expected to tell attendees, offering insights into how the collaboration between Adobe and Asus has shaped new post-production capabilities.

The presentation introduces what Adobe describes as a new application within Premiere, developed in collaboration with working editors to open up new creative possibilities and streamline post-production workflows. Adobe has characterised the update as its most significant in over a decade.

Attendees can visit the ProArt booth in North Hall #N3032 on April 20 from 14:00 to 14:30 and April 21 from 16:00 to 16:30 to attend Soule’s sessions.

Post Production World Conference

Asus will also have a presence at the Adobe Community Event during the Post Production World Conference, where attendees can get hands-on time with the ProArt Display 5K PA27JCV, the 6K PA32QCV and the ProArt OLED PA32UCDMR-K.

These displays support Adobe Colour Mode and also feature Mac-focused additions such as M Model-P3 colour modes, which are designed to maintain consistent colour reproduction across macOS devices.

A Broader Push Into Creative Workflows

The ProArt line has also featured at Adobe MAX and IBC events, where Asus has demonstrated HDR and colour-accurate workflows to professional audiences.

The partnership reflects a broader trend among hardware manufacturers seeking closer integration with creative software vendors. For editors and colourists, validated hardware compatibility can reduce the guesswork involved in ensuring that what they see on screen matches the final output.

Asus positions the ProArt Display series as purpose-built for filmmakers, editors and visual storytellers who require precise and reliable colour fidelity in their day-to-day work.
