Asus has taken the top spot in the global OLED monitor market, following a sharp increase in sales across 2025. The company now holds an estimated 21.9 per cent share, according to figures from TrendForce, ahead of its key rivals in a segment that continues to expand.

The vendor’s position was bolstered by demand for OLED gaming monitors, alongside broader interest in OLED displays among content creators and professionals.

Asus attributed the growth to its broad OLED portfolio, which spans QD-OLED and WOLED technologies across gaming, professional and creator segments.

Product Expansion And Feature Integration

The company has launched several new monitors this year, with a focus on panel speed, colour accuracy and durability.

Models like the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQWP-W and ROG Strix OLED XG27AQWMG feature Tandem OLED technology and TrueBlack Glossy coatings. These updates aim to deliver better peak brightness, colour range and panel longevity.

To mitigate burn-in risks, Asus has deployed its OLED Care Pro suite across its product line. This includes a Neo Proximity Sensor, which detects when users leave their desks and automatically dims or powers down the display.

The ROG Swift PG27UCDM (4K at 240 Hz) and ROG Strix XG27AQDPG (1440p at 500 Hz) were also introduced in early 2025, offering refresh rates targeted at the competitive gaming segment.

Shipment Growth Across OLED Market

TrendForce data shows OLED monitor shipments increased by 65 per cent year-on-year in Q3 2025, reaching 644,000 units globally. Gaming remains a major driver, but Asus is also targeting creator and enterprise users.

The company’s ProArt OLED series is positioned toward content professionals, with features like multiple HDR formats, wide colour gamut support and integrated calibration tools. For mobility-focused users, the ZenScreen OLED range brings OLED displays into portable form factors.

Vincent Chiou, Asus Global Vice President and General Manager of the Display Business Unit, said the company’s growth is rooted in its continued investment in display technologies.

“Asus has long been dedicated to innovation in display technology and impeccable quality,” Chiou said.

“In addition to receiving high praise from gamers, the industry-leading ROG gaming monitors and the ProArt series designed for content creators have also made significant inroads into portable and medical fields, earning widespread recognition and favour.”

“Moving forward, Asus will continue to prioritise user needs at its core, delivering an unparalleled visual experience to consumers.”

Broader Strategy In Display Technology

Asus said it expects OLED monitors to continue expanding beyond gaming into business and specialist applications.

The vendor said its roadmap includes new panel technologies, improved durability and the use of OLED in diverse form factors.

The company said its focus remains on building out a wider range of monitors to support emerging use cases, while continuing to iterate on panel performance and system integration.
