Armis, a cybersecurity firm specializing in asset intelligence, has announced the completion of its Australian Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment to the Protected classification level. This milestone follows Armis’ recent partnership with a large state-based government department in Australia.
The IRAP assessment ensures that Armis meets the stringent security standards mandated by the Australian government through the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC). This certification allows government agencies with Protected level requirements to collaborate with Armis to enhance their cybersecurity measures.
Zak Menegazzi, Cybersecurity Specialist for ANZ at Armis, stated, “The completion of the IRAP assessment demonstrates Armis’ commitment to upholding the highest standards of cybersecurity for all levels of government and public sector partners in Australia. This assurance is timely as we mobilise our expertise, empowering our customers and partners to address the entire lifecycle of cybersecurity threats. We look forward to supporting additional public sector entities through new opportunities enabled by this assessment.”
Armis has also announced two strategic acquisitions aimed at bolstering its cyber exposure management platform. These technological integrations enhance Armis’ AI-powered platform, providing comprehensive protection across all cyber assets.
Armis Centrix is a cloud-based platform that proactively identifies and mitigates cyber asset risks, addresses security vulnerabilities, and protects entire attack surfaces. It integrates with existing security ecosystems, offering continuous protection for assets from the ground to the cloud.

From asset discovery and management to vulnerability prioritization and remediation, Armis’ key priority is helping to keep society safe and secure in light of today’s cyber threats.”
