A new Supply Nation-registered joint venture has launched to help embed Indigenous participation in Australia’s digital, cybersecurity and technology sectors.
Anchoram Indigenous officially opened this week as a purpose-driven collaboration with Canberra-based data and cybersecurity consultancy, Anchoram Consulting.
The venture aims to provide ICT and cybersecurity services while directly supporting employment, education and long-term economic pathways for Indigenous individuals and communities.
Built On Industry Partnerships, Focused On Indigenous Capability
Anchoram Indigenous will operate as a fully functioning business unit within Anchoram Consulting, providing tailored services to government, defence and enterprise clients. The goal is to ensure Indigenous representation is embedded in delivery, not just reflected in policy.
Anchoram Consulting Co-Founder and CEO, Glenn Ashe, said the venture represents the company’s commitment to building trust through action.
“Since we opened our doors, Anchoram Consulting has operated with our four key principles in mind – Integrity, Empathy, Authenticity and Professionalism,” Ashe said.
“Anchoram Indigenous is the next step in demonstrating these priorities.”
Anchoram Consulting was established in 2019 and has since expanded into India and Canada. The firm has delivered over 80 projects across Australian federal, state and local governments, defence and critical infrastructure sectors.
Indigenous Leadership Driving Outcomes
The new business will be led by Sylvius Leonard, a senior manager at Anchoram Consulting and long-time advocate for First Nations participation in the technology sector.
Leonard said the opportunity to lead the venture reflects both a personal and collective mission.
“I am grateful for an opportunity to serve the Indigenous and broader Australian community by embarking on this joint venture with industry veterans,” he said.
“My goal is to build a business and practice that stands the test of time and will provide meaningful employment and career opportunities for Indigenous people.”
Leonard said structured reinvestment into people, not symbolic gestures, would be the foundation of the company’s impact.
“It’s important for us as an organisation to be able to reinvest a portion of our proceeds towards Indigenous causes and provide exceptional counsel to make a genuine impact,” he said.
“With each engagement contributing to meaningful Indigenous economic participation and capability building, we can deliver both practical outcomes and lasting change.”

Services Targeting Government And Critical Infrastructure
Initially, Anchoram Indigenous will focus on information and cybersecurity risk management across government and enterprise, sectors where Anchoram Consulting already has extensive experience.
By combining Anchoram’s delivery track record with a structured capability-building agenda, the venture hopes to act as a model for similar initiatives seeking to deliver impact beyond contractual metrics.
A portion of profits will be used to support scholarships, mentorships and education pathways for Indigenous communities.
Anchoram Indigenous is listed on the Supply Nation directory and has been established as a compliant, purpose-led delivery partner for organisations seeking to meet Indigenous procurement requirements with measurable outcomes.
