Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements
Australian aged care, community services and not-for-profit organisations are adopting TechnologyOne’s AI-powered digital coworker, Plus, as demand grows for agentic AI tools embedded directly into core business systems.
AnglicareSA, Southern Cross Care, Lutheran Services and PCYC Queensland are among the latest organisations to adopt or expand their use of Plus, which allows employees to interact with enterprise data using natural language rather than navigating traditional reports and dashboards.
TechnologyOne first announced Plus in October 2025 and made it available to customers in March 2026. The tool is embedded across the company’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) suite and forms part of what TechnologyOne describes as its fifth-generation AI ERP platform.
Regulated sectors looking for practical AI
The uptake is concentrated in regulated industries where governance, security and compliance requirements are particularly stringent. TechnologyOne says the growth reflects demand for AI that can deliver productivity gains within existing business systems rather than through standalone or experimental tools.
Executive Vice President, Regulated Industries at TechnologyOne, Cale Bennett, indicated that organisations are moving past the experimentation phase with AI.
“Customers want AI that delivers measurable value while meeting the governance, security and compliance standards their organisations require,” Bennett noted.
“Organisations need AI that is secure, practical and embedded directly into the systems their people use every day. Plus helps executives and employees by prompting faster workflows, generating insights and completing tasks faster through simple voice conversations.”
Who is adopting Plus
AnglicareSA, one of South Australia’s largest community and social services organisations, is among the recent adopters.
Southern Cross Care is deploying Plus to streamline access to information and support frontline teams across its aged care operations.
Lutheran Services is taking on Plus alongside AI and automation capabilities to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness across its workforce, residents and clients.
PCYC Queensland has expanded its existing TechnologyOne partnership, adding Plus on top of its current suite of solutions including supply chain, HR, contracts, payroll, financials and corporate performance management.
Reducing the ERP learning curve
A central part of TechnologyOne’s pitch for Plus is that it lowers the barrier to using enterprise software. Rather than requiring staff to learn how to navigate complex ERP interfaces, Plus allows them to query data and complete tasks through natural language and voice conversations.
Bennett framed this as a response to growing pressure on workforces operating in increasingly complex regulatory environments.
“As regulatory complexity increases and workforces face growing demands, customers are looking to improve productivity without increasing complexity,” he explained. “Plus helps users to be ERP specialists with zero learning curve.”
Continued investment in AI-embedded ERP
Bennett positioned the growing demand for Plus as validation of TechnologyOne’s broader investment in embedding AI across its platform.

“TechnologyOne has always evolved ahead of the market. As we continue investing in our fifth generation, demand for Plus is growing as customers realise tangible value and productivity gains,” he remarked.
Plus is designed to automate tasks, simplify workflows and surface insights across the TechnologyOne ERP suite, with enterprise-grade security and governance maintained throughout.
