Adobe Launches Brand Visibility And GenStudio For Commerce To Target AI Search And Retail Media

Surprisingly Useful AI Article Enhancements

Adobe has unveiled two new products aimed at helping brands manage their presence across AI-powered search platforms and scale advertising content on retail media networks.

Adobe Brand Visibility is designed to give marketers a unified view of how their brand appears across AI chat services and browsers such as ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity AI. Adobe GenStudio for Commerce Media Networks is a separate tool that helps retailers and brands create and activate ad campaigns within retail media networks.

Both products sit under Adobe CX Enterprise, which the company describes as an end-to-end agentic AI system for managing the customer lifecycle from acquisition through to retention.

Brand Visibility targets AI-powered discovery

Adobe Brand Visibility combines capabilities from Adobe’s existing LLM Optimizer with technology from Semrush, the SEO and search analytics firm Adobe acquired. The product is positioned as a Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) tool, intended to help businesses understand and improve how they show up when consumers use AI-powered tools to research products and services.

Adobe’s own data shows AI-driven traffic to US retail sites grew by 1,324 per cent between October 2024 and May 2026. In the travel sector, AI traffic rose by 2,215 per cent over the same period.

“In a world where customers often interact with an AI tool before ever reaching a business’s website, visibility is everything now,” Anil Chakravarthy, President of Customer Experience Orchestration Business at Adobe, explained.

“Adobe has helped brands navigate and get chosen in every wave of marketing transformation, and Adobe Brand Visibility now provides a comprehensive solution for teams to expand their company’s influence across AI surfaces. Following the close of our Semrush acquisition, we moved quickly to integrate its capabilities, and early customer demand has exceeded expectations.”

The product draws on a database of nearly 300 million real-world AI search prompts sourced from Semrush. Marketers can use it to see which prompts their brand is winning or losing across different AI platforms, track how often the brand is mentioned and how large the audience is for those mentions, and compare their visibility against competitors.

A prompt strategy feature allows teams to identify topics gaining traction across AI surfaces and spot areas where competitors may be capturing attention. The tool also incorporates Semrush’s SEO dataset, which covers 28.5 billion keywords and 43 trillion backlinks accumulated over 17 years, to show where a brand’s existing search authority should be translating into AI citations.

On the action side, Adobe Brand Visibility surfaces recommendations and allows teams to deploy content optimisations directly within the tool. Updates are pushed to AI agents at the edge so that language models can access the latest version of a brand’s narrative, while changes to owned content are applied simultaneously for human visitors.

The product can be used standalone or integrated with Adobe Experience Manager to apply optimisations across web experiences, campaign content, digital assets and commerce catalogues.

GenStudio for Commerce Media Networks

The second announcement centres on Adobe GenStudio, Adobe’s AI-powered content supply chain platform, which is gaining a new commerce media network capability.

GenStudio for Commerce Media Networks is designed to help retailers onboard brands as advertisers on their commerce media networks. The tool builds a working profile and creative assets from existing product listings, website content and category context, then activates those directly inside the retailer’s ad network.

“The volume and quality of content brands need to produce has outpaced what teams can realistically deliver,” noted Varun Parmar, SVP and General Manager of Adobe GenStudio and Firefly Enterprise. “From global brands to first-time advertisers on commerce networks, GenStudio closes that gap by giving teams the tools to produce content that engages their customers wherever they are.”

A native integration between GenStudio for Commerce Media Networks and Adobe Real-Time CDP Collaboration will allow brands to expand targeting and measurement by bringing customer data from existing channels into campaigns running on retail networks. A partnership with LiveRamp will connect retailers’ purchase data so campaigns can be built around actual purchasing behaviour.

Broader GenStudio updates

Beyond the commerce media network product, Adobe announced a range of updates across the wider GenStudio platform.

Adobe Brand Intelligence, the company’s AI tool for maintaining brand consistency at scale, is gaining a new Simulate Skill. The feature lets marketers simulate audience reactions to content using synthetic audiences modelled on real customer data, allowing teams to refine creative concepts before committing budget.

Adobe also revealed a new Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration in Adobe Workfront that can connect to large language model applications. This lets marketers assign tasks, check project status and manage campaign activities through an agentic workflow.

Firefly Graph for enterprise, available as part of Creative Cloud for Enterprise (Edition 5), gives creative teams a visual, node-based canvas to build automated workflows using Adobe and third-party AI models alongside Adobe’s creative tools.

Firefly Custom Models are now available in Adobe Photoshop for image generation, giving designers access to on-brand AI image generation inside the application.

In GenStudio for Performance Marketing, a new cross-channel insights dashboard will capture Connected TV data via an integration with MNTN, adding CTV analysis alongside paid social, email and display. A new Ad Recommendations feature will surface guidance on which ads to refresh, scale or retire, while a Next Best Creative capability will automatically assemble the next asset based on past performance data.

A Unified Campaign Metadata Service will connect campaign data across planning, creation and activation stages, ensuring every asset carries a consistent record across Adobe’s suite of tools.
