Adobe has launched Photoshop on iPhone, with an Android version expected later this year. The app introduces core tools such as layering, masking and Firefly-powered Generative Fill, making Photoshop more accessible for users who work on the go.

The mobile version aims to bring in a new wave of image and design enthusiasts while providing existing customers with greater flexibility. It allows users to edit their work anywhere, capture ideas instantly and manage personal projects on a mobile device.

Ashley Still, Senior Vice President of Digital Media at Adobe, said the move will broaden access to Photoshop. “We’re excited to bring the creative possibilities of Photoshop to mobile, making the app’s iconic tools accessible to everyone from professional designers to those trying Photoshop for the first time,” she said.

Expanded Features For Web And Mobile

Adobe has also introduced the Photoshop Mobile and Web plan, which adds advanced image editing and design capabilities to these platforms. Users will have access to precise selections, targeted adjustments and advanced colour corrections. Firefly-powered Ai tools are also included, ensuring commercially safe content generation.

The web version has received updates to improve the transition between mobile and desktop. It now integrates directly with Adobe Stock’s free assets and supports multiple browsers including Safari, Chrome, Firefox and Edge.
