Acronis, a global provider of cybersecurity and data protection solutions, has unveiled a new #TeamUp partnership with Sydney FC, Australia’s most successful professional football club. This three-year agreement, supported by managed services provider (MSP) Hyperix, is Acronis’ first football partnership in Australia.

As the exclusive Cyber Protection Partner for Sydney FC, Hyperix will bolster the club’s cybersecurity posture using Acronis technology. This includes deploying advanced security solutions like Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) to safeguard against cyber threats. Founded in 2019, Hyperix operates across Queensland, Victoria, and New South Wales and will manage all security services for the club.

This collaboration is Acronis’ 15th #TeamUp with professional football clubs worldwide. It includes substantial branding opportunities for both Acronis and Hyperix, such as co-naming rights on key Sydney FC assets, involvement in the Sydney FC Business Club, and branding at the ‘Sky Blue Lounge’ match day corporate hospitality at Allianz Stadium. The partnership will also feature special networking events and recognition on the men’s and women’s coaches’ polos of the A-League, ensuring high visibility and reinforcing the alliance between Sydney FC, Acronis, and Hyperix.
